The Promise I Made

        I must have fallen sleep in the car because I woke up to someone tapping my shoulder. I sleepily walked into the cell and was shoved in. I then started at panic as this tall woman with short hair and many tattoos approached... she looked like my mother had, hard drugs I guessed. She touched my hair and smiled then said, "Wow, how beautiful you are.", I shuddered at her touch. I half smiled walked away and sat in the corner. I hugged my legs and sobbed silently at the thought of Ryan. God, I think I really love him I thought. I then cried harder. I stopped and looked up and saw the girl starig at me. I chipped a piece of the wall off and started to sharpen it... just in case. She left me alone and I thought about my siblings...I knew I should have stayed home.. maybe they'd be here still.. or maybe I'd also be dead. What if I died also... I wounder if things would matter, if anyone would notice... I looked at the sharped rock and then at my wrist. I then slowly cut across my wrist crying out in pain. A cop heard me and took the rock away then it all went black.

        I woke up in some white room with padded walls. Great! They think I'm crazy.. I thought then sighed. I looked at my wrist and saw it was covered up. I started to cry then stopped suddenly like I ran out of tears. I looked at the walls until I again fell asleep. I dreamt of Ryan, his smile his hair his laugh. We were cuddling and I snuggled my face in his neck and his whispered, I love you. I smiled and whispered I love you too. We kept cuddling and I woke up, I mumbled out loud... "Ryan I love you." I will never ever harm myself in any way, Ryan is all I have and I'm all he has, I can't leave him like that.

        I fell back asleep knowing tomorrow is my trail. How fun. I dreamt of nothing the rest of the night.
