7- Proposal

6 Years after

Rizz Pov

I still remember that day. I cant forget that best day ever because after that i can't come to their concerts due to my financial needs of studies. I need to work hard so that I can help my sister and brother in helping my parents.

I have graduated in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, passed the board exam and got a decent job. Im 22 years old now. -_- aisshh getting old huh....

Here i am at the firm, still on my working hour. I got this job 2 months ago, well i can still be called as a rookie.

"Miss Eliona please proceed to our boss's office" I heard the secretary's voice.

"Coming" I stand up and walked to the office and knocked

"Come in" I heard our boss. I enter the office and greet my boss.

"Rizz! Come and sit down!" He said with his jolly voice as I walked towards his table and sat down in the chair in front of it.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Woah! Is that how you greet your Boss?" Oh yes.. he is my friend actually my classmate in our college degree. Thats why. He also told me to be casual when no one is around.

"Oh come on Jake you told me to- " he cutted me off by saying "To Be Casual".

He chuckled and say " I was just messing around Rizz"

"So what is it?" I asked again.

"Lets have a date" he said and smiled at me waiting for my answer.

"Stop it Jake" I rolled my eyes at him "you called just for that? You already know what is my answer" and my answer is no he already knew it.

"Yeah... Yeah... but Rizz its different. I have something to propose to you and its better if I said it in a good place".

"So it wasn't a date it was called  a meeting" I corrected him.

"Well for me its still a date Rizz. By the way the date is after your work" aissh this guy..

SuddenlyI, remembered that I need to have an overtime.

"But I have an overtime later" I told him while he was fidgeting his fingers. He stopped and looked at me.

"Im the boss Rizz don't you remember?" He said with his annoying smirk.

"Oh yeah.. Right. Sorry BOSS" after i said that his smirk disappear and he sighed.

"Do you still love him Rizz?" I gasped by his sudden question I knew that he will bring up this topic again.

"Why would you ask that?" I didn't answer his question I just questioned him back.

"You are still wearing that promise ring" he pointed at my ring finger " Rizz... at least give me a chance"

I didn't answer. I don't even know why did i still have my promise ring. I don't know why my feelings haven't even changed at all. I still love him. He's hard to reach. Why do i still hope until now.

"Rizz.... why did you still bother to believe that? I know that you still love him until now,  I know that you still hold on to that little hope. And that's the reason why I fell for you and just like you did, I will believe and hope at you"

I don't want to bring up this topic again. I want him to stop. And I wish I could stop. To have courage to let go of this little piece of hope in my heart. 6 years that i was still stuck in him.

"Jake I'm sorry but please stop. Just stop it. If you have nothing to say, lets just meet later about your proposal. For now I shall take my leave. Excuse me" after saying that to him, I bowed and leave his office.
