Lexi's POV
I sat down at my desk, exhausted from another long day at school, however it's finally Friday. I took out my Precalculus textbook and opened it to the page of the homework. Senior year is supposed to be the fun and easy year of high school, but I can easily say this is the most stressed I've been and school just started a couple months ago. On the bright side, my 18th birthday is coming up.
"Did you borrow my laptop charger?" My sister Raelyn, who's two years older than me, asked. She does online university so she's constantly in her room on her laptop.
"No I didn't." I said, turning to face her as she stood in my doorway. Her face was paler than usual and she had bags under her eyes.
"Woah, are you okay?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah, just not feeling very well." She shook her head before leaving. I turned my attention back to my math homework, which would be occupying me for the next hour or two. My phone vibrated, interrupted me. I looked at it to see a text from my best friend, Chloe. We've been best friends for five years now and met when we found out we had the same birthday.
Chloe: hey do you wanna go see a movie tonight?
I quickly typed a reply.
Me: I have a ton of homework but I'll try to get it done as quick as I can so i'll let ya know when i'm done
Chloe: okay
Me: what movie did you wanna go to?
Chloe: mamma mia 2 here we go again!!
Me: omg yes I'll hurry
Chloe: okay hahaha
I locked my phone, tossing it behind me onto my bed. I picked up my pencil and wrote down the question, beginning to solve the problem.
Ethan's POV
I sat down on the couch beside my brother Grayson, in front of the camera. We've been making videos on YouTube for a few years now and have around six and a half million subscribers. YouTube is what makes us happy: making other people around the world laugh and be happy. The fame can get to me sometimes though.
"Hey guys. We're back!" We said at the same time, as we routinely did at the beginning of every video.
"You're probably thinking, why is this video so short?" Grayson asked the camera.
"Why Grayson?" I asked.
"Because we have an announcement." He looked at me.
"Oh, right." I played along.
"We're going somewhere. Actually a lot of places." I said.
"We're going on tour." Grayson said, a serious look on his face.
"Coming in a month, in December." I said.
"Check our Twitter every so often for more details." Grayson said.
"Peace!" We both said, again, as usual, before I turned off the camera.
"Bro that was the shortest video we've ever filmed." I said.
"I know, it felt so weird." Grayson agreed.
"Now go edit it. Shouldn't take you very long." I said to him.
"Shut up." He laughed.
