Minute Romance

"Hey dude, isn't that Sabrina?"
"Yeah, go talk to her. She is alone right now"
"Yeah, I can see that. Okay. Here it goes"

I stood up from my seat. I brought with me my food tray, and  mustered up all the courage that i could get, just to talk to her. I only walked a few steps when someone  approached and started talking to her.

Instead of going to her, I just made a slight change of my direction. I went to the food counter and placed my food tray there and signaled the guys to go. I was disheartened. I thought it was my chance. I thought i could talk to her this time. But i was a minute too late.

We are now heading to our classroom, when one of my buddies saw someone..

"Hey Jared, isn't Sabrina in the cafeteria a few minutes ago?"
"Yeah. Why do you ask Warren?"
"Because, I just saw her on that corner over there. She was walking alone."
"Are you sure about that? You're just kidding me"
"No Jared, I definitely saw right - -"
"Right? Right where Warren?"

We stopped on our feet when we saw Sabrina just around the corner looking at a far. This might be my chance. I will not be late this time. I quickly walked to her side.

"Sa---"
*insert sfx: phone ringing*

I stopped when I heard her phone rang. She quickly answered the phone as if she was waiting for it to ring.

"Yes? Where are you? Okay, I'll be right there"

And she just went on her way without giving me a glance. My friends came to me.

"Jared, just get over it. You can't talk to Sabrina. She is too busy and maybe too good for you."
"I know that Drake, its just that, ughh. Nevermind. I am just going to go home now."
"Hey dude!"

I walked away from them and did not listened to any words they are saying.

I went to the parking lot and drove my road racer. Yes. I only use a road racer to go to school. I turned my earpiece on and the bluetooth of my phone and instantly played the music on the "play now" section. My house is just 20 minute ride.

I got to my house and parked my road racer near the backdoor. I went straight to my room and turned my pc on. I changed into my regular home clothes and went back to my pc and opened the Steam app. I logged in my account and someone just chatted me.

"Hey king. Just got home?"
"Yeah. How about you J?"

I don't know who J is, but we have been playing the same game for 2 years now. I did not even now whether he is a guy or a lady.

"By the way King, i always wondered if you are a guy or a girl"
"The same thought crossed my mind J, how about we meet up?"
"Sure King, let's meet up at the Computer shop near the station. Then we'll go somewhere for lunch"
"Sounds good to me. How about tomorrow? Will you be able to come tomorrow J?"
"Yeah. Let us just chat each other tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah sure."

After we have chatted, we played our usual game, Rainbow Six Siege. We played like 2 hours or maybe 3 hours. I really had fun playing.

"Hey, I have something to do King. I got to go now. See you tomorrow"

And with that she just went offline. And I just replied "okay. See you tomorrow".

I turned the PC off and went to my bed.

"I am gonna meet J for the first time in person. Is she a guy or a girl? Or maybe both?"

I just thought to myself. Either way, i would not change my attitude just because i met with him or her. We will still plat games together.

I did not even realized that i fell asleep.

Morning had came. I just do my chores, tuned my road racer and cleaned my room. Then after I did all my chores I turned the PC on then took my bath.

It took me exactly 15 minutes to finish my bath. I sat in front of my PC and logged my Steam account in. J is online.

"J, what time will we meet up later?"
"Around 3pm. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah, it is just the perfect time."
"Great. 3pm it is. I got to go and do my chores now. See you later"

And she logged out. I just browsed the internet for some things. I saw memes and even gags. I went down from my room and ate my lunch. After I ate my lunch, I went back into my room and went to my bed. I could not help but think about what happened yesterday. I had the chance but, there certain things that stole the chance away. I went back to my PC and played PUBG.

I did not realize that it was already 2:30pm. I hurriedly changed. I wore a black ripped jeans, converse shoes, gray tshirt and wore my favorite cap.

I turned my phone on and chatted J. But J is not online. But i chatted anyway.

"J, where are you?"

I arrived in front of the computer shop just 5 minutes before 3pm. And I could not believe my eyes. Sabrina is standing there. She is wearing shorts just above her knees, grey blouse and a white beret cap. I approached her as fast as a could then called out her name.

"Sabrina?"
"Yes Jared? What brings you here?"
"Some stuff. Would you mind going into the café with me? It is kind of tiring just standing around here" i said with a smile
"Sure" she also responded with a smile.

We went into the café. We ordered some drinks. We talked about a lot of stuff. Like school stuffs, movies, and animes. I was really happy when I got this unexpected meet up with her. Is this just a coincidence?

"Sabrina, I was just curious, what were you doing outsidethe computer shop? Were you waiting for someone?"
"Yeah. But I still met with my online friend."
"Wait, what?"
"Nice to meet you King" she said with a beautiful smile thta pierced my heart.
