Hikari let out another sigh, looking at the rain pouring outside. Legs crossed, she leaned against the seat, with eyes blinking slowly.
The coffee shop was almost empty and surely with the rain looking as if it's going to pour heavily, it surely will continue being empty.
As she continues to stare at the falling rain, Junmyeon came and stood still next to her table.
"You're staying back today," he said but she didn't respond, nor did she even turn to look at him. He continued, "Not usual of you."
"It's raining," she simply replied.
Her respond made Junmyeon chuckle, "On Thursdays, no matter what the weather is, you'd always leave at 3. Whenever it rains, you always have someone picking you up."
Hikari turned to look at Junmyeon before darting her eyes away with a hum, agreeing with Junmyeon's statement.
"You used to stay until 5 when we were in high school, and now it's 3," Junmyeon said as he remembered their high school days. He giggled as the memories of those days came to mind and Hikari turned back to look at him.
"It's normal for someone like me to stay working here for years, but you coming here for years is another story," Junmyeon said before he stood at the edge of her table, his back facing the rain and looking at the coffee shop.
The interior changed thrice in the five years he worked there and he's worked with more than a dozen different set of staffs. And it isn't out of the ordinary to have the usual customers go away or stop coming.
He turns to look at her side profile, her almost stoic face as she watches the rain. The glint of her eyes seemed to have more to convey than her facial expression.
"I like it here..." she said softly, still continuing to look at the rain.
A small smile appeared on Junmyeon's lips. He raised his hand and patted her head softly.
"I know."
