Katty's P.O.V.
I woke up the next morning, starting to stretch my stiff muscles, as my body unwound from the tight ball form I'd been sleeping in, my joints cracked and bones popped. I looked beside me too see Nate was still there, eyes closed and breathing unsteady. He's awake. I gently nudged him and he opened his eyes, looking at me as though I was a snack of some kind.
"What?"
"You look so yummy in the morning. Its just because of how vulnerable you are when you're tired. It makes you easy to get to."
He leaned over and kissed me passionately. When he pulled away he looked me in the eye and kissed me again. I, of course, couldn't help kissing back. I loved him so much. And I knew he loved me. I looked at him when we pulled away again and smiled.
"Can I get up now? I kinda hafta... Ya know... Go?"
"Oh shit, yeah, don't need a mess 'cause I made ya hold it."
I did my business and went back to cuddling with Nate. I could smell iron and looked up at him questioningly.
"You're smelling your blood. I forgot to brush my teeth last night after you fell asleep... Mostly because I didn't want to wake you up on accident."
"Well, I'm a heavy sleeper most of the time so don't worry about it."
"I guess I won't next time, then."
I new Nate was always trying to be careful with me because I was still human after all. I knew one thing though, with the way he treated me... I know I need him.
