Chapter 12:Feel Like Making Love
Greece was more beautiful than she had imagined. As soon as they had gotten off the plane, they had driven an hour to his home, which looked as if it appeared from the water. She could smell the salty air and felt the sun's rays soaking through her pores. She had fallen asleep during the hour drive in the back seat of his limo and found herself cradled against his chest when she woke up. How she had gotten there, she had no clue.
Even now as she sat crosslegged on the beach, wearing a zebra print coverup, while Evan swam in the crystal blue water, she couldn't get away from the sinking feeling that she was still running. Maybe she wasn't running from him anymore but she was running away from something that she couldn't quite put her finger on. She smiled when he emerged from the water, the droplets of water clinging to his chest. She closed her eyes, shaking the image of herself licking the droplets from his chest. He picked it up, touching her shoulder.
"Are you alright sweetheart?"
She nodded, squeezing her eyes tighter. The way he called her sweetheart made her want to melt into a puddle of chocolate goo. "I'm okay," She smiled weakly opening her eyes a mere smidgen. What she saw was worse than she pictured. He reeked of sexuality, from his broad shoulders and washboard abs, to his long muscled legs. The look he gave her told her that he was less than sold and he pulled her to him.
"You're not okay Cassie. Stop trying to lie to me," His voice was stern and he growled, startling her. She had never heard him be anything but gentle with her and she quickly gathered her bag and started to head back into the house.
She heard him sigh behind her and then a groan. Before she could make it up the first step leading to the house, he had caught up to her, grabbing onto her arm firmly. "I'm sorry,"
She blinked feeling oncoming tears, knowing it'd be best for her to grab her bags and get the hell out of Greece. "I'm sorry too," She looked at him, scared of making an ass of herself, covering his mouth with one hand.
"Will you let me show you what I see?"
Something about his voice startled her, but it also scared her. She nodded knowing it could go either way. In one instance, he could choose to take her virginity and dump her or he could actually prove to be a worthwhile person, someone who would settle all her shortcomings. The risk alone, scared her the most.
She tried not to run away when she felt his light touch on her temple, then shaking as they trailed a path over her skin, making it tingle. His fingers found her lips, tracing the plumpness of them. He didn't kiss her, but the look in his eyes was beyond scary.
He said nothing as his hands did the talking, as he whised her coverup over her head, his eyes burning bright when he saw her teeny white bikini, which she had decided to hide under the wispy dress. He said nothing nor did he do anything else but touch her. His hands roamed over her curves but it was after he placed his hands over her now frantic beating heart that he broke the silence.
He was making love to her...using nothing but his hands.
She blushed finally getting it.
"I will continue to tell you you're beautiful until you believe me Cassie. Believe me," His lips seeked hers and she defiantely let him win this round. Her wall came crashing down and the tears came. The wall was never going to come back again. He had won. He wiped the tears from her eyes kissing her forehead.
"I need to go get cleaned up for bed," She alerted him pulling away from his embrace. Without being his warm embracee, she felt cold.
He smiled and let her go, nodding. They didn't need words anymore. She tried to walk into the house but instead burst out into a run. She heard him laughing from outside and cursed him under her breath. She made her way upstairs, reaching the bedroom and finding her bags, grabbing the nearest one and hauling it into the bathroom.
