It was the day before the trip to Spain and I was currently in my room packing. I had Chloe and Jesse over since we were heading to the mall after. It was Sunday today so my family had no meetings or work. We are all going out for dinner tonight, they wanted to spend some time with me before I go. A little dramatic since it is only a week.
"Bec, we are going for a week. You do not need 5 pairs of shoes!" Jesse laughed
"Ugh, fine" I huffed
I decided on taking 3 pairs instead, 4 including the pair I will travel in. Once I had finished, I quickly put my MacBook, iPad, and chargers in my backpack, ready for the flight.
"I need to pee, then we can finally leave!" Jesse said, running into my bathroom.
Why mine!
"I still have no idea what to pack!" Chloe sighed sadly
"Want me to help? It's okay if not!" I smiled
"You can if you want. My house isn't nice though" She mumbled, looking down
"Don't go all shy Beale. I don't care about a house, you are my friend and I would never judge you" I told her and she smiled
"We can go after the mall!"

Chloe and I were walking to her house, Jesse had left us earlier since he hadn't packed either. Clearly, we are all late packers!
"Ignore anything my parents say" She told me as we walked up the pathway
I only laughed and gave a small nod before she opened the door. Her house was quite cozy and had a nice feel to it. It was organized and tidy too. Her parents were in the garden but Chloe just said that we were going to her room.
"I actually love the fact you have no stairs!" I sighed thankfully
She laughed, closing her door behind us. Her room wasn't small, it was a nice size. It was kind of plain though.
"Do you have that list still?" Chloe asked me
"Yeah. Also, you may need a bigger suitcase Chlo" I smiled
"It's the only one I have. I could always shove some in my carry on?"
"I have a spare one at my house. I will get Ruby to drop it off" I said, texting her
"Beca you don't have to, honestly!" She said quickly
"It's fine. You won't be able to fit much in your backpack anyway. Plus we are going tomorrow morning, not much time left to even try fitting everything in" I smiled and she laughed quietly
Chloe was sweet. She never cared about herself, only about others and I found it sweet. She looked after Immy whenever her parents couldn't because they had work. Chloe had told me a lot about her family. Her parents both have to work 2 jobs to keep up with the bills and to provide everyone with food. I felt sorry for them, working 2 jobs must be exhausting.
^ I've worked 2 jobs before and holy shit, I had to quit one. I was too lazy but props to people that actually have to!^
After Ruby had dropped around my spare suitcase, me and Chloe began getting all her things ready for tomorrow.
"Do you know who you are rooming with yet?" Chloe asked me
"Not yet, I think we find out when we get there. I know my teacher told us that it would be random on the plane. It would be someone from the school though" I said
"I swear if I am sharing with someone annoying then I will be sleeping in the lobby" Chloe laughed slightly
"Me too honestly"
"Also hoping there are TV's on this plane. I can not sit there for 11 hours doing nothing!" Chloe huffed, falling onto her bed
I laughed but sat next to her.
"They should on a long haul flight. I am taking my laptop and iPad with me so I should be all good"
"Lucky"

*Next Morning*
It was currently 6 AM and my family had just dropped me off at the airport. Thankfully we live close so it wasn't too long of a journey. Once I had said bye to all of them, I headed over to where my class was meeting. Chloe and Jesse were already there so I stood with them.
Once everyone had arrived, we all made our way in and threw check-in. I was excited about this trip, it would be nice to get away from my family for a week. I always got a little nervous taking off though. Never landing.
"20 C" Jesse said
Me, Jesse, Chloe, Hunter and CR were currently sitting on the floor since there was only a line of 3 chairs and we all wanted to talk.
"20 A" I said
"21 B" CR added
"21 A" Hunter smiled
"20 B" Chloe finally said
I smiled. I was glad to be sitting next to her. Better since we were all sitting close together. After a few minutes of talking, out flight got called for boarding. Finally!
When we had got on the plane, it was seats of 2 which was good since I don't have to climb over 2 people just to go to the bathroom!

"Excited?" Chloe asked me
"Yeah! I can not wait to have a week away from school and family. Need to make some good memories this week" I smiled
"Agreed. I think Hunter has his camera so we can all do another mini photoshoot when we have some free time"
I nodded, feeling the plane beginning to move. Without even thinking, I grabbed Chloe's hand.
"Sorry! Taking off just makes me a little nervous" I said awkwardly
"It's fine Beca. I don't mind" She smiled sweetly
I gave her a small smile, still holding her hand. How Chloe didn't have more best friends, I'll never know. She is so sweet and caring. People just think she is shy. Which to be fair, she is, but only at first.
"We can take our seatbelts off now Bec. We are in the air" Chloe whispered
I looked up and seen we were. I let go of Chloe's hand and grabbed my laptop out of my bag, along with my headphones. I had my beats with me but I just decided on my apple headphones so I could still listen and talk with Chloe.
"You can put both headphones in you know, I don't really mind"
"It's fine, I will later when they turn the lights off" I said and she nodded
