Okay so welcome to my Rant Book. The first rant shall be about Geology, Economy and Steven Universe. So, as you may know, in the show Steven Universe, there is a character called Garnet who is a fusion of a Ruby and a Sapphire. Now, I LOVE Garnet, and I SO ship Ruby and Sapphire.
However, if you'll walk with me off topic towards REAL Rubies and Sapphires, you will find they are very expensive indeed. Garnets, however, are very cheap. Like, FRUSTRATINGLY cheap.
I HATE THE FACT THAT the Homeworld Gems are (in a way) right to disapprove of Garnet, as the fusion LITERALLY CHEAPENS both Ruby and Sapphire! And OF COURSE the Homeworld Gems care about "cheapening" - THEIR RULERS ARE DIAMONDS.
