Aug 30th message: Chapter 10, finally! We hit the double digit number. Summer vacation is ending, and so will my laptop privileges. My parent had made it a rule e since the start of the year that I won't be allowed to use my laptop, this year is going to be busy, since I'm uhm....graduating and all, ya.

Anyway, forget about me, on with the story, please feel free to comment because I love reading them C:

It was...unusual. Very strange for Asenath to be awake around 5 in the morning, on a Thursday morning.

Sure, there were times that she would wake up at this time, to get ready for the day, and prepare breakfast for her and her foster daughter, an awful feeling made it's way into the other belly. Every of her senses urges her to wake up.

Rising from her spot on the bed, she turned her head to the left to see that the spot beside her was empty as usually, but didn't mind, she didn't have time for love anyway, it was pointless. Her natural law was to protect (y/n) from this dangerous world like any mother would do and giving her the care she needed, having a significant other would be a nuicense, unnecessary. Something in her heart told her it wouldn't even work out, she did not lack self esteem, she just lack the feelings to be in a relationship.

The early morning leaked through the window, and through the shades of Asenath's room. The older woman twitted her body, feel touching the cold shimmering floor, walking to where the low source of light was.

The sun has barely risen, the sky was transitioning from midnight blue to rich orange as she took a peek of the scenery. ' (y/n) would love this...' Nath though, almost forgetting the reason why she had woke up in the first place.

Asenath, wrapped her cold body in a lavender colored bath robe, and started creeping towards the her bed room door, through the hallway. Walking across the room, discovering her belongs all over the floor. She shrugged at the mess and continued her path towards (y/n)'s room, this was normal, she would usually leave her things lying about, and cleaned them up later, or..(y/n) would. She would even clean the entire house if she had to, when ever anyone, like Jon came over, " He's going to think I'm messy!" (y/n) had said one time, when Jon was coming to visit for the first time, as them met three months ago as ten year olds.

Nath hissed through clenched teeth, as she felt as if she stepped multiple pins, her left leg shoat forwards, to get a closer look of the potential dangerous object she had to get rid of. The woman grunted in pain (and annoyance, total annoyance) as her gaze fell on the miniature little green animals that were supposed to represent the animals Beast Boy from the Teen Titans, turned into.

" How in the..." she hadn't seen this toys figures in two years, and out of nowhere, their laying on the floor as if they were there the entire time...

Asenath march towards her 'daughters' room to check on her, a habit she had gotten use to since the girl came in to her life.

As she swung the door to (y/n)'s bedroom, she found the place in a complete mess, fan comics of superheros, magazines and book all over the place, your Superman theme covers tossed off one side the bed, the remaining pieces of her alarm clock on the floor.

The first thing thing that came to mind was to dial 9-1-1, the place looked like someone had abducted (y/n) while she slept.

The older woman darted towards the direction of the living room, investigate before calling anywhere else, her skin grew paler, wondering of where she could have gone, where her captures-

What Asenath spotted, had nearly caught her off guard. Surprisingly, (y/n) had perched herself on the three seat maroon couch, consuming a bowl of cereal, staring into a blank wall. Wearing nothing but an oversize midnight black t-shirt with the Batman emblem.
