Stranger: Hey!

You: what's up?

Stranger: I'm just chillin. Can you turn your cam on?

You: yeah sure. you gonna cam up too?

*you turn your camera on*

Stranger: Holy shit you're so pretty. Also I can't I don't have a cam on this laptop sorry ): I hope you don't mind. I totally would if I did!

You: haha thanks. and nah it's fine I guess. so what kind of stuff are you into?

Stranger: I make music. What about you?

You: no no I totally am! I honestly just gaming and shit. I'm not that cool. you in a band?

Stranger: I am actually we just finished up a tour. and nah gaming is fun! one of my band mates is a huge gaming nerd

You: ooohh a tour? so you guys must be pretty big right? also are you a boy or a girl?

Stranger: we actually just got back from a tour in Europe. also excuse me ma'am I'm not a boy I'm a man LOL

You: and y'all toured Europe? how sick. and actually you're pretty close. I'm 23. how old are you?

Stranger: I'll just go by A haha

Stranger: so I see one of our common interests is waterparks!

You: yeah they really are. I love them. what's your favorite song by them?

Stranger: hmmm I'd say anything off Entertainment :^) wby?

Stranger: because it's clear Awsten put his heart and soul into that album

Stranger: why is that your favorite song?

You: well for starters it was the first song I ever heard by them. and because even tho I REALLY love their new album I can really relate to it and it still holds a special place in my heart bc I found it when I was in a dark place. and you're right he really did!

Stranger: awh I'm sorry to hear about that ): are you at least better now?

Stranger: you look so sad now ))):

You: oh yeah definitely! I moved and a lot has changed since then

Stranger: hey wanna hear some news that might totally cheer you up?

You: oh god sure haha

Stranger: you know how I told you I'll go by A?

Stranger: lol don't give me that weird look

You: yeeeesss? haha

Stranger: the reason I just got back from Europe and I go by A is because I'm actually Awsten :^)

You: PFFFFFT yeah okay buddy lol

You: because Awsten is super cool and hot. he's super talented and really sweet so there's no reason for him to be on a site this weird

Stranger: okay 1) if this site is weird why are you here lol 2) AWWW YOU THINK I'M HOT

You: I'm here because although it takes hours to sort through people jacking off I meet some really nice people here

You: hmmm okay...

I picked up my phone and dialed the number on screen. There's no fucking way this guy is Awsten but I decided to humor him anyway. It suspiciously took a while to ring before he answered.

"Hey (y/n)," I heard the voice say and I dropped my phone in shock.

Stranger: YOU DROPPED YOUR PHONE.

"H-hi Awsten...?" I said when I picked the phone back up.

"Believe me now?" He chuckled. There's no way this is happening.

"Okay just because you SOUND like Awsten still doesn't make you Awsten."

"Oh my God you're fucking impossible. Here hold on."

Suddenly the call was turned into a FaceTime and I saw Awsten sitting there on the screen.

"Geoff, Otto! Come here so I can prove to this girl from Omegle that I'm Awsten!" Geoff and Otto appeared on screen and began waving before walking away. "Believe me now?"

"Holy shit I'm FaceTiming waterparks." I was so shocked. Awsten just laughed at me.

"Close your mouth or you're going to catch flies (y/n)," he said smiling.

"How the fuck? Why the fuck? What?"

"Are you actually going to have a conversation with me again or just keep acting shocked?"

"I-I'm sorry hi!" I laughed and smiled. "So your gamer friend you were talking about is Geoff!"

"That's correct. You into Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart?"

"Uh who ISN'T!?"

"Cool maybe you can talk to Geoff about Zelda some time and we can play Mario Kart some day."

"Some day? You're going to keep talking to me?"

"I mean yeah. Unless you turn into some crazy fan and leak my number or something."

"Wait have you done this before?"

"No, but I thought it would be cool because you seem nice. And you're pretty."

"Awsten you can't just give your number to nice girls you find online." I laughed and facepalmed.

"Well I just did so boom." he chuckled.

"You're so weird." I just continued to giggle.

"Hey I thought I was cute and super cool!"

"First off, I said hot not cute. And second, you still are." We exchanged big smiles.

"Well that's good to know."

"Hey I'm super tired though so I'm going to bed okay? It was really nice getting to FaceTime you though!"

"For sure! Goodnight (y/n), I hope you sleep well."
