[0.0] 'JIMIN AND TAEHYUNG'

[15th jan.]

KIM TAEHYUNG HAD never, in all the fourteen years of Jimin knowing him, liked coffee. Preferring sweeter flavors, Taehyung had always despised the slightly bitter taste that the coffee emitted. More recently though, Taehyung had latched on to coffee as if it was his life source. He drank it in its strongest, most bitter form without any reaction. Jimin had been surprised when he came across it the first time but now, he was accustomed to Taehyung's new habit.

There were many side effects that Taehyung had with breakups over the years. However, this time it was worse and they'd stuck around for longer than ever before. A frown had been embedded into Taehyung's otherwise attractive features and Jimin did not like that one bit.

"Morning, Tae," Jimin began, hoping to get a response from the male. Taehyung turned around to give him a curt nod in response and Jimin didn't miss his bloodshot eyes and the bags underneath them.

Taehyung was seated on a chair in his open kitchen, with an island seating. There was a book next to him and Jimin recognized it as one of Taehyung's favorite comics from whatever inscriptions he could make out from afar.

Jimin walked towards the cupboards that lined the walls of the area, in hopes of making himself something decent to eat before heading to the dance institution he taught at. He swung open the doors and grabbed the nearly empty box of muesli and placed it on the counter. They'd run out of nearly everything so Jimin made a mental note to stop by the supermarket on his way home.

When he opened the fridge to grab some yogurt for his meal, he found a bowl of whipped yogurt lying on the shelf. He grabbed it with a small smile on his face, glad that at least some part of his best friend had remained.

Jimin turned around to thank Taehyung, the smile on his face only widening when Taehyung smiled back. "Thanks, Taehyungie."

"It's the least I could do after yesterday's midnight therapy session Jimin-ah. I don't want your efforts to go in vain so I'm going to work today," came Taehyung's voice. His usual smooth, baritone voice was a little hoarse after the crying he'd done while finally opening up to Jimin about his feelings.

Taehyung had been sad for days and had avoided as much human interaction as he could, turning down all the possible assignments his agent suggested to him. Now, only two weeks after his break-up, Taehyung had already begun to get his life on track.
