Chapter 4: Start of Something New

Brittany POV:

As I was texting luke I looked up and saw that another person has entered their room. It was funny to find out that Luke and calums room is directly across from ours. I could somewhat see him and I could tell he was attractive and I couldn't help but think if I could hook one of my friends up with him. I then see him point out the window at me and see Luke turning around to look so I quickly look at Dèsirée and we start our conversation. Luke then text me and says I saw you and I look up at him and he has the stupidest funniest face on and I can't help but start busting out laughing. I see Luke break out into a smile as I'm laughing so I reply with saying who was the guy that walked in the room? I look up as I press send and Lukes face has changed drastically. he texted saying that it was his friend Michael and why I was wondering. I just said I was curious and asked if he was jealous. I look up and see him look at me and I could see the jealousy in his eyes so I start laughing again. he replies with its not funny and I am not jealous. I said yeah it is and yes you are and you have no reason to be. I could see the different emotions show on Lukes face. I then send him another text asking if Michael was single. he replied with yes but I looked at him and he looked angry and upset. I sent him another text saying I want to meet him cuz I think my friend Lynn and him would be perfect together. I see the relief cross his face and I start laughing again.  wow I'm laughing alot looks like here comes the 6 pack lol My friend Lynn then comes into the room what a coincidence? I ask her what's up and we start talking. I text luke another message asking to meet me outside with Michael and Calum in an hour and he replies with a k.

Lukes POV:

As I was texting Brittany I hear a knock on the door and look up to see Michael has entered the room. I asked him what's up and he was asking us what took us so long to get back and all that. I just said we went with them to the store to help and we walked back but Michael saw right through that and I couldn't help the smile that came across my face. Michael then points out the window saying isn't that her? I turn my head in time to see Brittany turn hers and talk to I'm assuming Desiree. As Michael leaves the room I text her saying I saw you. As she looks up I put on the stupidest and funniest face I can make. It makes her start laughing and I can't help but smile. She is so beautiful when she laughs but I doubt I have a chance with her she most likely only seems me as a friend and my statement seems proven when she replies with Who was that guy that walked into the room. I instantly know she is talking about Michael and I can't help but feel jealous and hurt. I reply with my friend Michael and ask why. She replies with that she was just curious and was I jealous. I look up at her as she looks at me and see her start laughing again. Ugh I dont get what's so funny.  I text back saying its not funny and I am not jealous. I look up to see her reaction and see she rolls her eyes. She replies with yes it is and yes you are and you have no reason to be. I felt a little relief for that but what does she mean I don't need to be? She then ask me if he was single and I then knew I don't stand a chance with her so I just reply with yes. I don't look out the window because I dont want her to see how angry and upset I am. But then she replies with she wants to meet him cuz she thinks her friend and him would be perfect together. Relief immediately takes over my body and I look up to see one of Brittany's friends walk in and wonder who that is. I must admit she is pretty but Brittany is the one I want. I see them start talking and then get a text from her saying to meet her outside in an hour and bring Michael and Calum. So I agree by saying k I yell for them to get up here since they went to food and turn around to see them enter the room. So I tell them about the plan and they agree so we decide to hang out until it was time to meet her.

Michael POV:

I decided to go up and see Luke and see if he would tell me anything since calum wouldn't. I go up there and knock and enter the room as Luke looks up at me. He says what's up and I just ask what took them so long. All he would tell me was that they walked with them to the store and came back but I saw right through that plus luke couldnt stop his smile. I look up to see the girl luke is crazy about looking at us so I point at her and ask Luke isn't that her? As he turns his head I see her turn her head instantly and start a conversation with I guess her roommate. I start laughing and so does Luke.  I tell him that I'm going down to get some food and calum comes with me. We start making our sanwiches and I decide to make luke one. I try to get more info out of calum since I couldn't get anything out of Luke but he just says the same thing as Luke. As we finish making the sanwhiches I hear luke yell for us so we make our way up the stairs and we enter when he tells us we will be meeting Brittany in an hour so we decide to hang out and eat our sanwiches til then. It's been about an hour 5 minutes til so we head downstairs and out the door before the boys can stop us with questions. Two minutes later I see the girls open and 2 girls come out the first being I believe calums girl. She's has brown hair and brown eyes. She honestly is really pretty I can see why Calum likes her. I turn to look at calum and see he has a huge smile on his face and he turns to look at me so I wink and he blushes while saying shut up. I hear 2 more girls voices while the one who steps out tells the other one to wait. I recognize the one that is now beside Desiree walking toward us is Brittany. I must admit luke has always had good taste in girls. She has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that are very similar to Lukes. She is also really pretty and I turn to see Luke while his eyes light up and he smiles when he sees her. I turn to them and realize that they are in their pajama pants and a big T-shirt. They must have been getting ready for bed yet they still managed to look pretty. They get to us and Luke instantly goes to his girl and hugs her. I see her hug back with a big smile on her face. Calum hugs his girl and she also smiles and hugs back. While calum and desiree are talking, luke and Brittany come over and start talking to me. As were talking I catch Brittany glimpse back a couple of times toward the house and I see that Luke has noticed to. So luke ask her what she is looking at and she turns and looks at him with a im-innocent smile and says nothing. I see her send me a mischevious smile so I raise eyebrows while she says she'll be back. I look at luke wondering if he knew anything and he just shrugged but then I see Brittany walking back with another girl and I must admit she literally took my breath away. She had brown hair and brown eyes. I couldnt take my eyes off her until I felt a slap on the back of my head and say ow and turn and glare at luke while he tries not to laugh.
