Tohru's curse

Night Night Pt. 2

Heeeyyy, soo sorry for the late chapter (IB, don't deliberately get into this systeeem 😭). Anywaaay, enjoyyyy.

  "How has life been without me?" asked Rika with a smirk that Tohru knows all too well. Tohru stayed silent with an emotionless face and shivering hands. Rika grabbed an unsuspecting Tohru by the hair and calmly said "I'll ask again. How. Was. Life. Without. Me?". "Okay" replied Tohru with an agonized tearful face. "Good girl~" said Rika pushing Tohru to the ground. She looked down on Tohru mocking her position, and she made it worse saying "Just like your mother. That runt gave me quite a hard time, but look where she is now." Tohru's eyes widened as Rika pulled out her mom's yanki jacket.

Meanwhile,

   Kyo woke up hearing the door close downstairs. Ugh it's probably Yuki gardening or some shit, he thought going to sleep not knowing that it was his butterfly being lured into the spider's trap.

  Tohru got up and went up to Rika, she couldn't let her do this. Her mom was the only one in the wretched family who was able to get away. This was impossible as Rika's gaze left her motionless. She was shaking in her place like jello unable to do anything. Rika's part of the curse was the most horrifying, this was because she was the most powerful of the entire family. She could look into your eyes and show you your biggest fear bringing you pain and suffering, what's even worse about that is the fact that doing so entertained her. It was as of people's suffering was her pleasure, but what can she do? She strives out of despair.

Kyoko appeared in front of Tohru screaming with no sound, while Tohru was chained. She kept on trying to decipher what is happening to no avail, so she looked around only to realize that everyone she has ever loved was screaming and crying in pain. She fell to the floor, eyes covered, and started crying out for this to stop. She couldn't do anything about it though, after all, her fear is helplessness.

"Well that was fun!" said Rika sickeningly smiling as Tohru cried on the floor. "I hope this teaches you how to respect your master, now won't you be a dear and escort me to my room?" she continued. Tohru looked up and stood shakily, she couldn't rebel. She took the girl's hand and silently lead her to the room.

  This room is a manifestation of Tohru's suffering as this is where Rika always took her for 'lessons'. Rika sat at her bed and told Tohru to leave as her presence was disturbing. Tohru gladly obliged and left the house, but not before Rika pulled her in and pushed her to the floor. "What more do you want damn it?!" Said Tohru angry yet dull.

"Stop" Shion was staring at the beginning of Tohru's misery. "Back off or it'll be you next, and remember what happened the first time a beacon of kin went against the queen" responded an arrogant Rika with a face that could bring upon anyone's fear regardless of her power.
