"Liam, what happened?" Louis asked behind the door knowing Liam was not asleep despite the fact they both needed to get to work soon "I know you're awake, I just heard you crying five minutes ago"

Liam laid in bed trying to sleep but the pain he was feeling was far too much. His chest felt so heavy and tight plus his head was throbbing from how much he kept crying. He hates how he let Zayn get to him this badly but it's not only him that's causing this pain, it's the reminder of the fact that his ex made him feel that no one would want him.

Flashback

"Happy Aniversary babe!" A heavy weight sets on top of Liam. He groans when opening his eyes to find Stephen, his boyfriend, on top of him "two years of our sexy fucking selves together" he leans in to give Liam a chaste kiss before getting off him "come on Li, I made us breakfast"

The brunette smiles lovingly at how happy he was. He gets up and brushes his teeth then splashes water on his face. He heads downstairs of their shared home and finds Stephen setting up two plates on the island counter.

Liam takes a seat on the stool and begins to dig in right away. Stephen laughs loudly watching his boyfriend stuffing his mouth. The taste of pancake in his mouth makes him moan loudly "I'll never get over your cooking" he mumbles with his mouth full.

After he swallows it, Stephen leans in for another quick kiss tasting the syrup and coffee on his lips "only the best for you"

"I love you"

"You too, eat up" the two sit silently and eat away. Liam was happy, but who knew his happiness would only get crushed.

"Let's ride this one Liam!" He turns to find his hyper boyfriend pointing to the rollercoaster that had loops. They were currently at the fair downtown and Stephen wanted to ride on everything and play every game.

"We just ate, I'm not trying to throw up"

"But come on, it's the last one"

"Stephen, let's take a break for a moment please?" The older man presses his lip in a thin line before glancing to the rollercoaster and back to the tired man in front of him.

"Alright let's go over here" he grabs Liam's hand and leads him towards the crowded area of the fair. People either walked around or just sat there where the tables were.

They took an empty seat and Liam was just glad to take a rest for a moment "I love you Liam" Stephen blurts out reaching for his hand.

"I love you too Stephen" Liam smiles fondly at him.

"No Liam, I really love you and..." He gets up from sitting and kneels down in front of him on one knee. Liam covered his mouth with his free hand as Stephen held the other in his. People around them brought their attention on the two lovebirds.
