I rushed out the front door and locked the house quickly. I bolted to School, and as awkward as it may have looked for the people around the neighbourhood, It was worth it. I ran into school and stopped at my locker, I was puffed out and standing for a couple of seconds until I felt something hard kick my side. "Fuc-" I groaned. Clutching my side "Hey S- what was your name again?" A sassy confident voice said. "It'SSSS none of your business!" I hissed, as I lightly laughed. She kicked me harder in the stomach, "Oh my-" I screamed. "Don't talk back!" She scowled and left, luckily.

I took a deep breath in and got my books together and strolled casually to class with a my hand on my stomach. The girl who attacked me, her name was Romy. There is always a group of popular kids, she was one of them. This wasn't stereotypical because literally everyone else in the school was average. We weren't labelled, the popular kids were.

As I sat down in my seat, I heard giggles from behind me. "Sang over there." Romy pointed. "Hasn't had a boyfriend in her whole entire life!" She chuckled. I turned around and stared at her "Well Romy, maybe it's because all the guys here aren't decent." I said boldly, as I crossed my arms. I sensed someone was staring at me from the left, I looked around to find an asian guy with silver hair and dark eyes look away. I had never noticed him here, maybe he was new. It felt like ages for Romy to think of a reasonable comeback, but in the end she didn't say anything. "You are once again defeated by my very own words..." I mumbled.

Once class had finished I sprinted to my locker, grabbed my trusty lunchbox of two years and made my way out into the school yard. I looked like a kid, but I didn't care. I sat down on the edge of the basketball court, right where the sun was shining and I pulled out my book. I started to read as I received my daily dose of vitamin D and ate my lunch. That lunchtime was actually peaceful...As I was packing up my stuff I noticed the same guy who was staring at me, he was leaning against a tree, eyes closed and earphones in. I must admit, I did feel attracted to him.

When school finished I once again bolted home, just in case any of the popular kids spawned out of nowhere. Once I was home I shut the door behind me, locking it. I grabbed a carrot and made my way upstairs to my room. It was a very calm night, all went okay. I made myself some dinner, watched some tv, did some homework and then I was off to bed.
