Just Me

Previously in It Was Just One, you read about the meeting of Melanie and Brandon. Brandon had a girlfriend named Taryn, and how he dumped her for Melanie. They met a girl named Kayla and befriended her. Kayla was the main reason why the couple made it official. Melanie befriended a girl named Ariana that was new to their high school and became friends. Brandon, and Melanie went out to a teen club and met Eduardo. Eduardo and Brandon are literally like twins. Everyone was hanging around at Melanie's house and Brandon got on one knee. Melanie and Brandon headed to Vegas to get married. Brandon disappeared for awhile to go see his grandparents and Melanie is frustrated. Melanie cheats on Brandon with Justin, and feels guilty about it. Melanie reads an upcoming message from Brandon's friend, Shayla. The message basically told her that Brandon has been having an affair. She confronts him and finds out that Brandon has been cheating on her atleast six times. They got an annulment and went their separate ways. 

Later on in the story, Melanie goes to college in New York. She finds out that Brandon is actually going to the same college as she. They're both neighbors and back together. Brandon started hanging out with a girl named Yazmin. He ignored Melanie for about four weeks because he was hanging out with his new friend. Melanie meets someone new named Jermaine at the club and becomes friends. Brandon apologizes for ignoring her and decided to take her to a romantic dinner. He proposes again to Melanie and now they are engaged to be married.
