Kathleen POV
Today is the day of the Youth ball, but I don't feel like I want to attend. I wanna just stay here in the house and count how many people have passed by, I wanna stay here with mom and grandpa. According to them, we will be leaving this place after tomorrow, and we will be at the Philippines with my aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I get off my bed and start to walk downstairs with my messy hair, I sit at the dinning table where grandpa and mom eat and chat.

"Goodmorning sweetie" greeted mom.

"Goodmorning" I greeted her as I let out a yawn.

"Today is the day right? That ball for the youth's" asked grandpa as he cut through his stack of pancakes.

"Yah, but I don't want to go" I told them as I reached for the cereal and milk.

"But why? Didn't you want to join? To have a few more moments with your friends?" Asked mom.

"Yah... But what's the point? After that, I'll forget about it when my body is cold laying inside the casket" I answered.

"Have faith Len, you will heal. I have faith that you will survive throught out all these challenges in life" said grandpa.

"Yes sweet heart" agreed mom.

I start to eat my cereal and space out their voices.

After eating breakfast I head upstairs and start to pack my luggage and backpack, I then took a bath and changed into my plain orange shirt and wore my brown short as for my hair was tied into a ponytail.

I'm all done packing up my things and I decided to take a look around the house, as I walk through the halls of this house I start to have a flash back of my childhood here, and it was beautiful. I find myself in the living room staring blankly at the ceiling, the door bell rings and I open to it to reveal my dad.

"Hi Len" greeted dad.

Dad wore a dark blue suit paired with a black tie.

"Come in" I said.

He enters the room and starts to look at the place.

"Are you here to yell at me too?" I asked him as I shut the front door.

"No" dad answered.

"Then why are you here?" I asked him.

"I wanted to apologize" said dad.

I stand still infront of my door waiting for my dad to finish.

"I'm sorry that I'm a huge jerk and that I'm sorry for not being here for you when you needed me the most, and now I know that I am about to loose my daughter" he finished as a single tear went crawling down his cheek.

He starts to try to go near me but I step back. I know his my father, but no, I won't forgive him this easy.

"Why?" I ask him.

He stops in confusement, but tears still start to stream down.

"Why did you this? If you loved mom than you shouldn't have cheated on her" I said to him.

"I didn't want too, your grandparents disapproved of your mother and wanted me to marry Rose because she was once a rich women" said Dad.

"But if you love someone you fight for them, then why didn't you?" I asked him again.

"Why didn't you fight for her!? Why were you such a coward!? Why would you marry a slut! Why didn't you just! --" I screamed with every statement.

With every question I had I would push him away and he would just let me do it.
