eddie sighed, he hoped that greta would break up with richie, or even better, richie breaking up with greta.

"i think you should break up with greta, richie," eddie exclaimed all of a sudden, pursing his lips.

"i uh.." richie pauses "why?"

"she's rude to me and bev, she's just using you to get more popular, and she doesn't love you." eddie paused, "she's never said she loves you, right?"

"no, but she does eddie!" richie protested.

"look, how about you make a deal with her, you take a break from each other and then if you find someone else then..." eddie trails off.

"hm.. so like, make it so she'll wanna get back with me?" richie perks up, excitment in his eyes, "thanks eds, ill do that."

eddie curses under his breath, that's not what he meant but whatever, "don't call me that," eddie responds, his attention flicking back to the window.

maybe.. just maybe he has a chance now? no.. richie's straight, he needs to remember.

he sighs, the losers club isn't the same since greta came into the picture. she's a rude piece of shit, well, atleast that's what most of the losers club thinks.

what is he gonna do tonight, locked in his room with his old phone he can barely do anything on because his mom can see everything he says and does?

he'll be bored as hell, that's for sure. his hand rests gently on his chin as he thinks. there's not much he can do to entertain himself. suddenly, a voice forces his train of thought to an end.

"oh! also, eds, there's a party at greta's house tonight! would you be interested in coming?" richie asked with a slight tilt of his head.

eddie cringed. he thought of all the germs and people rubbing next to him, the alcohol his mother would never let him consume.

but... nothing can go wrong, right?
