I appreciate any comments or suggestions on what the book title is or the author name. As said below I have been looking for this book already for 2 years and its just bugged me so again I would appreciate any help on finding the book.

The moon goddess has trapped the man in a dark space where he has nothing to do for he is being punished for being cruel and killing many of her children (supernatural beings). The moon goddess decides that after all these years he has repented and let's him free with a gift a mate who is magically pregnant with his child. The rest is a blur to me but I do remember that he finds his mate and takes her and they are traveling back to his pack but they make a stop at an old pack friend of the male protagonist.
