1855. England- London:

It was a clap of thunder that awoke me from my endless daydream. I had stared at the mirror before me, raising my simple dark mask towards my face. My black hair curled at the fringe blocking one of my crimson eyes. I was dressed within an expensive suit that unfortunately clung to my muscles. It would be a long night, granted. But I was also a vampire and this was a boring century...

“Are you ready Nicolas?”

I had nodded weakly turning to Maggie and holding out my arm as she walked forth. Her red dress reminded me much of what a princess would wear but her mask covered little of her face...

“I am now.”

She shot me a small smile her golden eyes sparkling with excitement as her dark curls hung down her back cupping her face..

“Then let us go meet the other two.”

A small smile graced my lips before we walked out of our hotel room and down the many stairs ignoring the stares of the humans. I could hear their heartbeats and their blood pumping through their veins but I thanked my lucky stars that the man I had before was hidden within his room. Servicing me for now.

Not a moment to soon a small boy tried to pick pocket me for money but he soon jumped back at my gaze. “Sorry sir.” I ignored Edward as I walked down the stairs as Maggie drew closer. “You shouldn't have fed your gaze scars all.”

“I do not care sister dear. I was hungry and he was a wicked man.”

Our voices was nothing more than a whisper but I drew away as I saw Siobhan and Liam standing by the receptionist.

Like me Liam wore the same thing, but his golden hair was slicked back. As for Siobhan she wore a beautiful blue dress. She wore a smile on her delicate features as her hair was pulled back into a bun, a few strands of blonde hair cupped her face. But unlike Maggie her mask hid a little more.

“Are you scaring people again Nicolas?”

“I have no idea what your speaking off. I wouldn't do such a thing.”

Liam laughed with girls in that moment, but it left the humans dazed. But in the long run us vampires didn't need to strain ourselves to do so.

“Monster.”

The four of us turned towards an old lady who pointed her bony finger at me. “I beg your pardon?”  I could feel Maggie tighten her hand on my arm as the people of the golden five star hotel stayed silent. “Your a monster. Your eyes are like the devil's.”

“And you would know this how may I ask?”

The woman said nothing as I smiled. “That is what I thought. Have a nice evening.”

“You will not drain the woman would you?”

Maggie's voice was a whisper as we walked into the dark foggy night of London. “Do you think me so heartless dear sister? She is after all old.”

The girls laughed as they climbed into the carriage with our aid and when the four of us was safely inside I watched as another century rushed by. However, the murders of the ball was of not of my doing...
