I used to read stories like my own to my child to scare them, maybe you'll read this to your own.

It was an oddly cold summer night. Alex, 6, was just put to bed. I was reading in a dim lamp light.     My name was being called. It was Alex, although he had never sounded that off edge before.               Screams and I was running. Alex was on the floor twitching. I tried to call 911 but a voice came onto the line. "Blood and spleen and I leave." How could a damn prank call be happening now? Alex sat up and looked at me with a blank stare. "Mummy, please die." I couldn't even scream. His eyes rolled back. "Mummy, die or I have to." Out of no where, he stabs himself. "I am dying mummy." a smile on his face. It took over me, the thing. So dear Alex, Mummy is dead too, in her place.
