Chapter 7

"You want to go out with ME?!?!" I said to Zayn.

"you just are so nice, fun, awesome, cool, sweet, caring, and you are beautiful and wonderful all in one." Zayn said, with hope in his eyes.

"Thank you Zayn, that is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." I replied, fighting back happy tears. "Hey guys, can me and Zayn have a minute please?" I asked Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam.

"Pffftt duh! I wanna go hang with Liberity." Niall said. I rolled my eyes and Zayn laughed. Niall left and everyone followed except for me and Zayne. The second the door closed, Zayn's lips came to meet mine. Just as we were about to kiss...

"HAHA, THEY'RE GOING TO KISS!!!" Harry yelled from outside the room. Zayn and I turned to look at the door. Sure enough, Harry's head and curls were sticking out the window on the door.

"Seriously Harry?!?" Zayn called.

"Yup" Harry replied, yelling.

Liam appeared in the window with Harry. Zayn and I laughed as Liam hit the back of Harrys head. "OUCH" he said. "Meanie!"

Zayn looked at me. "You never answered my question.."

"Oopsie!" I said. "Yes Zayn, I would love to go out with you!"

"YES!!!" He yelled. "Oh jeez, I said that out loud.. didn't I?

"Actually, you yelled it out loud." I laughed and smiled.

Just then the boys and Nurse Carter walked in. Carter was wearing pink, grey and black polka-dot scrubs. She had a huge smile on her face.

"Alanna honey, I'm allowing you out to lunch. I think you should get out of the hospital bed for an hour or two." She said. She walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. The boys walked in and shut the door again.

"Alanna, may I treat you to lunch, please?" Zayn asked very politely.

"Baby, that would make me the happiest girl in the world." I said.

I swung my legs over the bed and stood up. I walked to my dresser and pulled out a brown t-shirt dress with a tie-up belt.

"Boys, wait in the hall please, I will be ready in a second." I called as I walked into my bathroom. I took my hospital gown off of my nice figure and slipped my dress on. I brushed my teeth and put my wig into a low ponytail. I put on black eyeliner and mascara, blush and brownish-pink lipstick. I looked in the mirror and I believed what Zayn said about me being beautiful. I exited the bathroom and Carter was setting up a wheelchair for me.

"Alanna, Zayn has offered to push you in this because you might find it a little hard to stand for now." Carter told me. I got into the chair and Zayn walked in to wheel me to the restaurant a few blocks away. "Anybody up for Nando's???" Niall said. "I invited Liberity, but because of her anorexia..." "Poor Liberity." Liam said. "Alanna, where would you like to eat?" "Nandos sounds good!" I exclaimed.

That was the big mistake Niall and I made... The mistake that almost cost me my life.
