Percy POV

They were dead

They were all dead

It had been just over a month since The Giant War has ended. Yes ,the Olympians Side has become victorious.But no Victory comes without casualties.

*Flashback*

Stab.Roll.Defend.Stab.Disarm.Repeat.

Annabeth and I were back to back as we killed monsters left and right. However with every kill we made , the more our vision was drowned in tears.

Turn.Duck.Advance.Kill.Repeat.

The Seven except Annabeth and I were dead.
Most Satyrs and Grover were dead.
Thalia was dead.
Reyna was dead.
The Stolls.
Katie.
They were dead.

They were all dead.

Pari. Roll. Disarm. Kill.

Piper had fallen first.She had used most of her energy.Defending everyone by charm speaking monsters to turn each other and kill them selves.The last thing she did was dive behind Jason to stop an arrow from killing him.She wasn't that far away.It should've been me.Aphrodite was enraged.She jumped off the cloud she was on and fought in some very fashionable battle armour.

Stab. Kill.

Jason came next.He killed everything around pipers corpse yet wasn't fast enough to see the Cyclops behind him. The last things he did was lay next to Piper with a short I love you.

Kill.

Thalia was after that.Although She was already using lots of lighting to kill every monster in sight ,when she saw Jason the voltage amplified by hundreds. It wasn't fair. She had only just got her little brother back. Pinecone Face  died because of an overload of powers and Zeus entered murder mode.I don't blame him. His kids were gone. You would've done the same.

Kill.

Hazel was next and Frank not too far after. Hazel died while she had once again used too much power and killed her self.Frank had turned into a bear ,then a dragon and million other predators mythological or not , as he darted through the crowds of monsters.Loss of blood ended his life.

Kill.

Reyna lender to much strength to others and didn't keep enough. She passed out only to be brutally murdered the next second.She was a good warrior. 

Kill.

Leo.He was dragged to a plot of water and drowned to death. I know he tried to evaporate it but he couldn't. The only upside of his casualty was that we finally knew the answer to our argument
of Fire Vs Water.

Kill.

Grover tried to trip up as many monsters as he could with his reed pipes. But in the end he was just a Saytr. Just Like all the others that died.

Kill.

The Stolls and Katie can next. I was going to miss all their pranks and Katie's never ending smiles.

Kill.

But They are dead. And the monsters killed them because they are killers.

Kill.
