"Landon come on your gonna be late for your first day," my best friend aka my older cousin Jade by two and a half months said from downstairs. I am closer to her than anyone else I mean I'm close to my mom to but she's around my age.
Let me introduce myself my name is Landon and I have 5 siblings and I'm the baby. Sigh. It's not that bad but I can't do stuff like my brothers and sisters. I mean I've been homeschooled while they went to public school I have no friends and they have too many. I'm 18 now and since I was homeschooled I am a senior in high school.
"I'm coming," I yelled grabbing my bag and going downstairs to see my cousin on the couch eating eggs and bacon. I thought we was going to be late but she have time to eat a whole meal. "Come on before we're late," I walk past her and saw a bag with my name on it I grabbed it and walked out to my new 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. I got my license when I was 16 and a half. I just got this car like a few days ago after my mom finally broke and let me go to school. I hurried and put my bag in the trunk and waited for Jade to get in the car. Okay I know I haven't actually practiced much but I got a license so it had to be good enough.
I played my favorite song Crush by Yuna and drove to school luckily I didn't get stopped because of how fast I was going. When we pulled up to the school I saw a lot of cars. "Oh sh*t" I looked around and saw people just standing with their friends. I looked back in front of me and saw I almost hit this person. I slammed on the brakes and luckily I stopped a few inches away. Mom would definitely keep me in homeschool if I can't even make it to school okay.
I parked my car and me and Jade got out and I just looked at everything. "So this is what school looks like," I said as we grabbed our bags and walked towards the school.
"Hey Jade," a girl said walking towards us and she grabbed Jades arm and dragged her somewhere. I just kept walking and somehow I got lost looking for the office. Dad said it was by the doors you come in at but I somehow ended up by the gym. I walked around trying to find my way back to the front of the school. I saw this guy and he is hot walking the same way I was going. I was following behind him until I felt myself hit somebody.
"I am so sorry I was looking for the office and then I saw this cute guy and I was following him to find the office-," I kept talking until he cut me off.
"Calm down short stuff so you were following me huh," I look up at the guy and saw that it was the guy I was following when did he even turn around. I look at him closer and saw that it was the guy that I was 2 inches from hitting this morning.
"Oh gosh I'm sorry I'm new here and my cousin got dragged away and this place is kind of big," I said and he looked at me. "Also I'm sorry for almost hitting you this morning," I looked away blushing.
"Wait you almost hit me with your car this morning," he said looking down at me. Beep. I guess that was the bell. The bell oh no I'm late on my first day moms gonna hurt me. "I guess I'll take you to the office since I am now late as well." He started walking and I walked beside him. We walked for three minutes and I kept glancing over at him.
"Hey Ms. Lewis I found this new student," he said to the front desk lady. She looks over at me then back at him.
"What's your name sweetheart," she looked at me.
"Landon Johnston ms.," I felt myself start to get nervous because not only am I late but I found this hot dude I know mom is going to find out.
"Ahh the home school kid we heard about," I felt him stare. "Well since it's your first day I guess we'll let you being late pass this time." She looked at the guy "I guess since you were helping him I'll let you slide this one time Jake and you can show him to his classes since your so helpful." She said handing me my schedule and locker number and we walked out the office with a note to give our teachers.
