I looked out the window. Birds on a tree, how original.

You know your depressed when even a big block of chocolate can't make you happy. I walked into the kitchen and chose the freezer as the best option for food.

Ice-cream. The instant remedy for any heartbreak.

I took out a large spoon and opened the lid. I had three flavours to choose from, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

'Honey, how you doing?' I heard my Mum say as she took an apple out of the fridge. She was on an all-new diet where all she could eat was fruit and vegetables.

'How do you think?' I snapped taking a big scoop out of the chocolate section.

'Ugh, no need to be so rude. I was just trying to see how your doing!' she looked at me innocently taking a bite out of her apple. I had a major urge to punch her. Through my whole relationship with Jake, she had done nothing but complain about how annoying he was but all of a sudden she cared about what I felt?

Ha. Good joke Mum.
