Not long after Aiden left I got woken up for a delicious dinner that consisted of meatloaf. I was so exhausted I ate and went right back to bed. Now I'm getting ready to job hunt.

I shower again and change into a dark green blouse that has delicate bead work along the neckline and a black pair of skinny jeans. I put on a little mascara and lip gloss after I braid my hair. I give myself a once-over and add blush to give my face a little color. I smile at myself. Much better

I walk to the front door where I meet up with Kristen. She looks so much like her mother. Brown hair, brown eyes and petite. Both are insanely gorgeous, even though most people think the typical brown-eyed brunette is plain that is not the case with them.

I look more like my father with the same blond hair and green eyes. I got my mom's petite figure that is so similar to my aunt and cousin's, I also inherited her dimples. We smile at each other and head out the door. I hop in the passenger seat of Kristen's red Cavalier. We buckle our seat belts and make the short drive into town.

Kristen parallel parks the car and we step out into the town. We're in Riverside, Maine. Its a small town most people don't even know about, it sits right on the outskirts of New Brunswick.  Its a small town that is surrounded by woods.

The families that reside here have been around since the beginning, aside from a few families that moved here for the seclusion. The buildings are made of rustic red bricks and there are people out everywhere since its the weekend.

"Do I look okay?" Kristen asks me as she pulls on a tan cardigan over her pink tank top. She's also wearing skinny jeans but hers are normal jean blue. We are both wearing ankle boots, hers are tan with zippers on the sides and mine are green with black straps that have cute buckles.

Her thick brown hair was slightly wavy and she wore only lip gloss. "You look gorgeous as ever!" I smile, giving her a side hug.

"Great!" she says happily. "Then lets hit the shops and see if anyone needs a new employee."

The first shop we stop into is the bookstore. That book smell hits my nostrils as we step inside. The front windows provide tons of natural light and the shelves are light brown. Its bigger than it looks from outside and any book you could hope for is likely here.

"Why hello there! I haven't seen you around here, you must be new to town. How can I help you?" I hear a bubbly voice ask from the front of the store.

We walk up to the checkout counter and see a girl who looks like a model. Shoulder length brown hair, gorgeous blue eyes and legs to die for. She wears a pair of black khakis and a red short sleeve shirt that had a name tag attached to it. "Hello-" I say looking at her name tag, "Trinity! I was wondering if you needed assistance around here? I'm new to town and looking for a job." I inquire.

Kristen comes up behind me after she finishes looking at the shelves. "Oh hey Kristen! Long time no see." Trinity says warmly. This really is a small town.

"Hey Trin! This is my cousin Freya. She's staying with us for a while. You got any openings?" Kristen asks politely.

I feel a bit anxious. This is a new area for me, even though I visited when I was younger. I'm hopeful though. I would love to work in a bookstore. Its quiet and peaceful. It would be the perfect job to ease me back into working again.

"Yes, actually. Piper just left for that fancy out of state college, so her position is open." Trinity responds.

"Where do I apply?" I ask, smiling. Lucky! I think to myself as I fill out the application sheet. I hand her the sheet and she tells me she will drop it off to her boss tonight. I will know whether I got the position or not in a few days. I thank her as we exit the bookstore.
