This is a story about a girl called Jayden. Not a 'girl-proof' name, and because of that, she hates it. Why is she called Jayden? She doesn't know. Her mom doesn't want to tell her, and her dad lives on the other side of the country. She has never met him, her mom moved from Orlando to Seattle when Jayden was three weeks and her mother, Larissa, and her dad were fifteen years old. Larissa doesn't want to tell Jayden about her dad, Jayden doesn't even know his name. The only thing Larissa ever told Jayden, was that her dad wasn't a good guy, so he wouldn't be a good dad either. He would have left Larissa when she was pregnant.
Jayden grew up in Seattle. When Jayden was six years old, she moved to her grandparents. Her mom had some troubles, and when Jaden was ten, she moved back to her mother. But there, her mom had a suprise for her. She had a boyfriend. Jayden hated him. And there was no one who she hated more than him, even her own dad wasn't that high on her list of hated people. But she never told her mom, just because she didn't want to hurt her.
