Hi! I'm currently working on another one shot, and while working on it this idea came into mind. I'm not sure how, though. It just did.

Anyways, I'm actually going to be using a side/character sort of thing that I actually theorize is Roman's dark side in this one shot, so please keep that in mind and on with the one shot!

Roman sighed, staring down at the dark purple rose he had been given by Virgil.

The two sides had been hanging out in the imagination together, walking side by side through the forest near Roman's "kingdom."

Roman was mainly doing the talking and Virgil would occasionally add in. It was always like this. It would be strange for others, but for them? It was perfect.

Let me explain, ever since the fiasco in Virgil's room where Virgil saved Roman along with the others, the two had gotten closer with each other, and eventually became best friends.

It wasn't until a few months ago until Roman decided to bring him to the imagination, and they've been hanging out there ever since.

Anyways, while they were walking, Virgil suddenly came to a hault, so did Roman.

Virgil bent down and grabbed....something from the rose bush they were by. The Prince opened his mouth to ask what he was doing, and was met with the emo sticking up one finger (not the middle) to signal him to wait.

"Cover your eyes and turn around." Virgil spoke up. Roman turned back around, and covered his eyes. What was he doing?

"Now open." Roman uncovered his eyes and saw Virgil standing infront of him, holding out a dark purple rose.

Roman blushed a small bit, and took the rose. He thanked him and the two continued walking, Roman still thinking about the rose.

It may have been something little he gave, but it made Roman's heart skip a beat for a second. That wasn't normal for other people, but the prince may or may not have had the tiniest crush on Virgil.

And maybe he didn't want the emo to know.

Anyways, they returned back to the mind palace, the two sides departing and taking their separate ways. Roman, being a bit secptical as he slowly made his to his own room.

Surely.....he wouldn't be there today....

Right?

Roman cautiously made his way into his room, locking the door behind him just to make sure......he wouldn't get inside.

Roman sat down on his bed, staring at the purple rose he had gotten from Virgil.

He sighed. He really was in love.

Suddenly, a figure appeared before him.

"Oh no." Roman whispered, soon hiding the rose behind him.

"Hey Roman. Did you miss me? I just know that you did." The figure said in an oddly joyful voice.

"You know I didn't, Delusion." The prince said, a bit frightened.

Delusion was Roman's dark side. And he wasn't exactly the....nicest person/side. The two didn't really have the....best relationship. Almost like Mother Gothel and Rapunzel's relationship, Delusion being Mother Gothel and Roman being...well, Rapunzel if their relationship was completely like theirs.

"You saw him again, didn't you?" Delusion asked, taking one step closer to Roman. Roman nodded, standing up.

"Yeah. I think he likes me!" Roman said, slightly happily as he continued playing around with the rose he held behind him.
