Chapter eleven

Alex's pov

"Got her number?" Matt asked "I wish." I said and he laughed. "Can I sit?" He said and I nodded. "Shawn told us about your sobriety.. I'm sorry. I should've never called you a pussy for not wanting to drink." "It's cool." I said rubbing my arms up and down. "You cold?" He asked "a little." I said and he took off his jacket and put it on me. "No you didn't have to." I said taking it off and giving it to him. "It's fine." He said "you're gonna catch phenomena." I said "good. I'll be punished for doing something nice." He said and I looked at him confused. "So.. how'd it start?" He asked causing me to sigh. "I met a couple friends they asked me to come over to hang out with them, they're parents weren't home and we all decided to drink. I wasn't addicted at that moment but I did like the taste. Couple months past by and I can't stop partying, I can't stop drinking.. I was a mess. I was doing drugs, wasn't really a big fan of them, I hated how the effect of coming down was. I always preferred to drink." I said

"It was tempting seeing you guys drink. That's why I came out here. I knew that if I stayed in there long enough, I'd probably start drinking again." I said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry." I said "don't apologize. I get it. Addictions hard. My uncle was an addict too. He was almost ten years sober but then he got back with an ex and it all went down hill. He recently got himself together but who knows how long that'll be." He said "alcohol?" I asked "heroine." He said "Oof." I said "what?" "Heroine.. sucks. I tried it one. Never again. I hated it." I said and he laughed softly. "How about we go back inside? We're gonna catch frost bite." He said and I nodded and we walked back up to our room seeing Brian and Shawn drunk already and they were blasting Music.

"You made it!" Brian said getting up but lost his balance causing him to fall on the bed. Shawn gasped "Alex! This is our song!" He said as call out my name by The Weeknd came on. He got up and walked over to me and wrapped his arm around me "so call out my name! Call out my name when I kiss you so gently, I want you to *burps* stay!" He sang and I laughed. "I think I'll just take Brian to the room." Matt said and I nodded. Shawn lost his balance and I caught him. "Easy big fella." I said "you'll be okay?" Matt asked as he picked up Brian and I nodded "yeah, I'll take care of him." I said and he nodded. "I'll take these." He said and grab the beers. "Hey! I want one!" Shawn said "no Shawn. You had enough." I said and he gave me a dirty look. I shrugged it off and Matt left.

I helped Shawn get to the bed and I put a trash can near him. I cleaned up and shut off the music. "Hey! Why-why are you over there? C-come here." Shawn slurred. "I'm fine." I said "n-no." He said sitting up. I sighed and got up and laid him down. "You're fucking cute." He said "Shawn. You're drunk. Go to sleep." I said "I may be drunk. But I know, sober or drunk, you're still fucking cute. Honestly, I would've just fucked you during the lock in. But fucking Anna walked in." He said "Shawn. Go to sleep." I said rolling my eyes. He sighed eventually falling asleep. I walked out the room to go down to the gift shop and get a few water bottles.

I walked in and grabbed some water bottles, a couple of gatorades and Advil cause I know Shawn is gonna have a major head ache. "Hey stranger." I heard and I turned around and saw sky. "Hey." I said "Are you that thirsty?" She laughed. "Roommate got drunk." I said "you're the nurse for tonight?" She asked and I nodded. "Wish you would be my nurse." She said "oh yeah how come?" I said "so I could see you in a little sexy nurse outfit." She said looking me up and down. "Are you flirting with me?" I asked "I don't know. Did it work?" She asked and I smirked. I grabbed a nearby pen and grabbed her hand and wrote down my number. "Don't be afraid." I said and she looked down at her hand and smiled.

I paid for the things and walked past her "see you around, red." I said and walked back up to the room. I put the things in a mini fridge that we had in the room and fell asleep on the couch.
