«2 days before you leave to go to Comic Con»

Y/n POV

yay, I'm so excited that I get to go to Comic Con, did I say I'm excited, it's my last day at school for another couple of months, I'm happy but I'm also really sad. A couple days ago I went out with my friends for Paula and Maxene's birthday, oh my goood, I've missed them so much, we went to this really nice restaurant, I shared a pizza with Bryce and Paula, when we had tiramisu which was delicious, then me and three other friends went to a cafe called Oliver Brown which had he best hot chocolate, we stayed their for about and hour then meet up with our other friends and went shopping. It's lunch right now and B/f/n, Matthew and I are sitting near the field and talking "y/n, I finished reading Fireflies and if it's anything like the script, there's a lot and I mean a lot of romantic things happening between Quin and Brooklyn" b/f/n said concerned "yea I know, and yes it is like the script but kind of worse" I said "what you mean worse! How could it get worse" Matthew asked kinda yelling "Quin and Brooklyn almost have sex" I coughed the last bit so hey couldn't hear "what!?" They both asked me "they almost have sex" I said quicker "y/n speak slower, we can't hear you" Matthew said "they almost have sex" I said slowly then hide my face from them "oh my god y/n" b/f/n says grossed out "ew" was all Matthew said "if you're gonna audition for that role, you're gonna have to do it" b/f/n said "no we wouldn't, we'd fake it dumbies, and production won't start till maybe almost a year and a half away, I'll be 15 almost 16, so its doesn't matter, you have to be professional about it" I said confidently "yea y/n still, that's really intense" Matthew said "yea I know" I said.

We talked only for a little longer because the bell started ringing "what do we have?" Matthew asked "um, i think science?'' i said unsure ''ugh! i hate Ms Khin" b/f/n said very annoyed ''i know right" i said back to her "at least we get to sit next to each other" i added "lucky, i have to sit next to Emily, all she does is talk" Matthew complained which made me and b/f/n laugh. we walk over to science and wait for out teacher, i see Alex talking with Michelle, ugh they're so annoying ''hey whats up with Michelle and Alex?'' i asked b/f/fn quietly ''oh that, yea thats been happening for awhile" she said, i roll my eyes ''i swear he's bipolar" i said to b/f/fn and that made her laugh. We've been in science for half an hour and it's soooo boring, sorry if you like science, I do but my teacher is so annoying, but this lesson in interesting because we're learning about he solar system, I love planets and everything astronomical. Ms gave us a work sheet to do and I'm just speeding through it "oh my god y/n" b/f/n said "what?" I asked confused "you're so quick" b/f/n said laughing "I find this very interesting" I said smiling "ok" b/f/n said focusing back on her work, the class is almost over and I'm saying goodbye to everyone in my class, again "yo when I'm gone can you give me updates about Alex and Michelle?" I whispered to Matthew "why me?" He asked "I don't know, could you please?" I asked putting my hands together and pouting "ok ok, how could I say no to you" he said then giving me a hug. DING DING the bell went and the class walked out of the room, I'm walking to my Mum's car when someone pulled on my wrists, Alex "what do you want?" I asked already annoyed "can't I say goodbye" he said "not this again" I said walking quicker but he catches up to me "do you have to be with your girlfriend?" I asked facing him "Michelle? No,no,no" he said shaking his head "really?" I asked looking at him with annoyance in my eyes "yes, you know how she is, she clingy and she can't get through her head that we're not together" he said very bluntly "ok sure" I said walking away, he caught up again "you know who I love" he said quieter "who?" I said trying to walk faster, he stopped and said "you", I stood frozen, I was going to face him but walked to Mum's car.

We drove home then I went straight to my room and started packing, I saw it takes me forever to pack, like I'll be almost done then I finish and hour later, I don't know. I've finished packing and now I'm just finishing dinner with my Mum "you know y/n, I won't be able to go to LA or Atlanta with you?" Mum said sounding like a question "why?" I asked confused "well with your grandpa, him being sick and all" Mum said trying not to cry "I understand" I said quietly, I walk up to my room and on onto my laptop, I had got a new email from Steve.

Regarding what I said in the last message, the producers have officially said that production won't start till about a year and a half, so if you want this role, work extremely hard because they have hundreds of girls auditioning for this, so work hard.

Wow, hundreds of girls, that's a lot, I mean that's about the same amount of girls that auditioned for the stranger things role, this will be ok, this role would be big for me as it would be my first movie to film, I wonder what boys their getting to audition for Brooklyn.

Wow, only a couple more chapters left, I hope you enjoyed this book and book 2 will be a lot better
