Thinking Back To Yesterday

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first saw you

Your eyes were gleaming, reflecting the sun’s rays

Your hair was tousled, from the winds strong gusts

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first spoke to you

Your lips were moving animatedly, as you rattled on

Your voice was hoarsely deep, and lustfully raspy

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first hugged you

Your arms were comforting, as they moulded around me

Your body was strong and firm, radiating a warm heat

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first kissed you

Your lips were just like a feather, light and ultra-soft

Your taste was so alluring and sweet, it was addicting

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first said I love you

Your eyes were wide and bright, showing total surprise

Your face was grinning broadly, bearing your pearly whites

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first agreed to wed you

Your hands were shaking, tightly clasped around the velvet box

Your head was bowed facing your knee, waiting in suspense

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first said ‘I do’ to you

Your eyes were leaking, tears of happiness staining your cheeks

Your lips were smiling, tugging wider and wider across your face

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first gave the test to you

Your hands were clenched into a fist, pulling on a clump of hair

Your jaw almost touching the floor, tense and frozen in shock

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first gave our baby to you

Your arms were held tense and protectively, swaying gently

Your face was glowing in awe and pride, smiling at our creation

Thinking back to yesterday; the day I first decided to leave you

Your eyes were big and bulging, with saddened hurt and rage

Your body was slumped down, rising and falling with anguish

Thinking back to yesterday; the days I first spent with you.
