Surprise

"EMILY EMILY EMILY GUESS WHAT?!!" My best friend Ellie screamed on the other line of the phone. I giggled at her excitement.

"WHAT WHAT WHAT?! I played along.

"I GOT ME AND YOU TICKETS TO SEE....JUSTIN BIEBER!" By now I could tell she was jumping up and down with excitement. She was a huge fa...belieber. I on the other hand wasn't a belieber. I was more of a fan. I mean I had a ton of respect for him and would stick up for him. I just wasn't obsessed. I was excited we got to go to his concert though because his music was amazing.

"OMG really!!" I said still a little shocked.

"Yess really! And we get to.MEET HIM!" She said tears already staining her cheeks. I could tell she was crying with so much happiness and it made me want to cry. I smiled the biggest smile ever and giggled a little.

"OMG this is incredible. When is it?" I said super excited. By now she had calmed herself down.

"It's Saturday night at 6pm. My mom said she would take us a few hours early just in case. And you can also sleep over after because we will get home kind of late." She said. I could tell she was so happy and that made me super happy.

"OMG this is so exciting! Okay. I will call you back in a little. I'm going to tell my mom." I replied.

"Okay. Bye. Love you." She replied still happy and excited. After she hangs up she will probably scream her head off. I laughed at the thought.

"Love ya too." I replied before hanging up. I jumped up and down with excitement. I laughed at myself for getting so excited. I ran down stairs and almost slid on our hardwood floors we had. I hear my mom in the kitchen. Probably making dinner. My dad was watching a basketball game in the living room with my older brother sitting next to him.

"Mom mom mom" I said with a huge grin across my face.

She laughed at the excitement I had. "What what what? " She grinned.

"Jasmin got me and her tickets to see and MEET just bieber!!! " I pretty much screamed it I was so excited. Like I said I wasn't a belieber or ever a hugeee fan of Justin I just had a lot of respect for him and his music. I honestly was just super pumped to go see him and meet him. I mean who wouldn't be.

"That's awesome honey!" She smiled at me. A thought came to mind while I was sitting there.

"OMG what am I going to wear?!" I said kind of worried.

"Why don't you go buy a new outfit. You can take the car and my card." My mom said. She has always been super generous and caring. I loved my mom with all my heart and I have no clue what I would do without her. I jumped out of the stool I was sitting in and smashed into her side giving her a huge hug. So big that she almost fell over. She laughed then hugged me back.

"Thank you thank you thank you." I said even happier. She let out a soft laugh at how excite I was.

"Your welcome. You might want to get going though cause it's already 4." I looked at the clock and saw she was right. The mall closes at 6 so I would at least get a couple hours to shop if I went now. I said goodbye to my mom and hopped into the car. I was a senior now but I didn't have a car yet. I used to but I had to sell it because we were not doing to good financially. I was okay with it though because my parents let me use there car whenever I needed it. I think they just felt bad though.

I finally got to the mall and walked in. I headed straight for forever 21 because that was the only place I ever shopped. I don't know why but forever 21 was just my favorite store. It always had the best outfits. I looked around and couldn't find anything that caught my eye. I wanted something comfortable and cute. My eyes locked with a pair of destressed high wasted light wash shorts. I instantly grabbed them knowing these would be perfect. I looked around for a few tops I could pair with it. I picked out three different tops and headed to the dressing rooms.

After I finished I decided on getting the high wasted shorts and a black crop top that had a little gap in the top middle. It showed a little cleavage and my mid stomach but I didn't mid because I would only wear it for that night. I desided also to get some gold accessories to pair with it and a light cover up to go with it. I checked out and started heading back to my car.

-Saturday morning-

It was currently 1am Saturday morning and I honestly could not sleep i don't know why. I think it might of been because I was so excited. I got up and went down stairs to get a drink and saw that my brother was up.

"Hey" he said with a tired voice.

"Hey what are you still doing up?" I asked him. He always went to sleep early so I didn't know why he was up right now.

I noticed he was not okay. I saw tears stream down his face instantly. He rested is elbows on his knee and put his face in his hands. I quickly ran over and sat down next to him and put my hand on his shoulder. I didn't know what to say I just sat there and waited for him to talk.

"She...she cheated on me..we br..oke...up." He spit out through tears. My brother had been dating..we'll fell in love with this girl. Her name was Hannah and I honestly didn't trust her from the first time I laid my eyes on her. I can't believe she would hurt my brother like that. i couldn't even say anything. "I...I was ..g..going to ..ask. Her to..marry me." He said through more tears

I couldn't believe it. I was almost as shocked as him.

"I'm so sorry. You deserve better...you may not see it now but this may be a good thing...I'm so sorry she did this too you. It hurts me to see you like this..I don't know what to say...I'm just sorry." That's all I could say and I felt like I said something wrong. I never knew what to say wen it came to these situations.

"Thanks sis. It's not your fault. Just can me and you hang for the day tomorrow. I don't want to think about it and I need someone to talk to." By now he dried his tears and just had a few left on his cheek.

I remembered the concert. But I knew he needed me. I'm sure I could hang before the concert and get there on time. "Yeah of course" I said pulling him in for a hug. He hugged me back the stood up to go to sleep.

"Goodnight. Love you" he said as he walked down the hallway. I could tell he was still super upset and just wanted to sleep so I let him.

"Goodnight. Love you too." I replied watching him walk into his room. By now I was super tired and decided it was a good idea to go to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
