"Oh my God", was the first thing that came to my mind.
We had been auditioning the whole day for the role of Peter Kavinsky,and there had been a handful of very good actors, who weren'ttooooo bad to look at.
I was sitting on the floor, a little bit exhausted from saying my linesover and over again and took a couple of sips from my favorite drink:unsweetened ice tea. It's not as boring as water, it's healthyand it gives you a little kick in the ass. Trust me, you don'twanna see what coffee can do to me. People have called me a bouncyball before.
I looked at my reflection in the window, took a big gulp from my icetea, as I heard that the door was being closed behind me. "Hi, I'm Noah". I don't know what exactly happened to me in that momentbut somehow his voice made me accidentally spit my last sip againstmy reflection in the window, resulting in some drips being flung backat my face. I love being clumsy. Really, I do, but does that have tobe the first impression I'm leaving on a stranger?? Besides somelaughter from the casting directors, who already knew me, I heard achuckle coming from behind me. I turned around and almost bumped intothe hand the guy was reaching out to me. Oh ok, he wanted to give mea handshake. I awkwardly shook his hand and the first thing I thoughtwhen I saw him was "Oh my God". I mean, don't get me wrong. Ihave a boyfriend. It is okay to look at another guy and think that.Right. Right? I don't think Anthony would be too concerned if heknew about that. As if he never thinks that when he sees hotwomen.
"So let's start off with your lines then, Lana", brought me back toreality. My mind had been floating somewhere, I'm not exactly surewhere.
Right when we spoke our lines, and I saw how passionate Noah was able to look into my eyes, I knew he was the guy we had been looking for. My Peter Kavinsky. Or rather, Lara Jean's Peter Kavinsky.
