"Well done Miss Kim, top of the class again with 100%!" The teacher stood at the front of the room with a grin. "Keep that up and you'll be accepted into anywhere you dream of."
"Thank you." I bowed my head politely, and once class ended, I rushed to the empty music room and pulled out my phone and called my elder brother.
"What do you want?" He sighed softly, already knowing that I had already gotten 100% on the exam.
"I got another 100%" I sang down the phone causing him to chuckle.
"Did you meet with Einstein's ghost or something? Has he possessed you? You've got four 100% this year and you're two months in." He laughed quietly.
"I've gotta make mum and dad proud." I smiled softly, sitting down on the old piano stool that had lost it's padding. "They wanted me to become a doctor, or rather... they wanted you to-"
"Don't get all sentimental on me now and tell me that I should quit before I get hurt... You've told me this several times now." He sighed softly.
"Exactly, why won't you listen to me?" My voice cracked slightly. "You deem it too dangerous for me to come see you, so clearly it isn't safe for you to just be out there by yourself-"
"I've got to go, I'll call you again okay?" He spoke quietly.
"Okay, bye Joon..." My voice broke again, as I felt tears well in my eyes.
"Bye Ji-Woo." He sounded like he had a small smile on his lips. I smiled softly.
"I love you brother-" But before I could even tell him that, he had hung up.
