It was finally the day of the wedding and margo was having second thoughts and my dress wasn't fitting properly.

"Am I doing the right thing" she says after looking at herself in the mirror then turning to face me as I attempt to fix myself.

"don't cop out now, what happened to the excitement?"

She comes over and fixes my problem. Rolling, tucking and then pinning.

"I don't know, maybe it's too soon?"

"Nonsense, you really like him and he makes you happy that's all that should matter at this point."

Her eyes widen at my optomistic attitude considering i was the main one in protest.

"I thought you'd be the main one instigating my feelings, now your Mary Saint Helen?"

"No.." I began as I bring her to the mirror and tuck her hair back in the clip keeping it all from going to pots. I straighten out her pure white kimono and finally add the last touches, the hat.

"It's too late for all of that now, I guess I was just upset that someone else is taking you away that's all but he really makes you happy. There's love there, I can tell." I say looking at the finished product. She really made a pretty bride.

"Awe, come here" she gives me a hug and I place a hand on her face.

"No crying, your makeup will run. Here i almost forgot" I walk to the door and grab my phone on the way out.

"Chico where are you going?"

"Just to run and get something from the other room I'll be back, if you need something my phone will be on me." And with that I left the bride to be to find the groom.

The church we rented was medium sized but with no people to fill it it seemed like such a palace. I easily got lost so I drew a map on my phone to remember where the room was. I quicken my pace as service starts less than an hour from now and I'm not even ready.

Quinn is impossible to find. But when I finally got to my room the door was locked and the key I had forgotten in my jacket pocket in margos room which was located on the other end of the church.

The owner said that there were extra supplies in the storage closet. I couldn't exactly remember if he said there were extra keys there as well but he did mention there was film from a camera left over from the last party they had.

I was going to surprise them with pictures, presents and something I hadn't done in a long time...

Play the violin.

It was the least I could do as my sister was going to be gone in a few weeks after all this dies down. I was going to take pictures for mom and I bought them things to remember me by. Little momentums they both could enjoy.

On my way to storage I ran into Quinns room only to find it empty with no Quinn. I turn the corner and find the storage room. The light was dim inside and it smelled musty. It had been collecting dust sense the beginning of time and most of the things were outdated. But I rummaged through which didn't take me long. The film in the camera was untouched and almost brand new besides the busted old camera. The keys were towards the back, each were wrapped in tape with each rooms number or symbol.

I was happy to find what I needed and get back with out busting my time. That is until I knocked over a horde of papers. Damn.

I began to stack the papers back up, each one flew dust up my nose and on my dress. I was midway when the door opens.

It was a silhouette followed by a much shorter one. The light from the outside blocked my view as the light in the room only reached so far. They began to speak and I crouched down further once I recognized one of the voices. Quinn.

The others I haven't heard before and sounded very high pitched. It was nasally and slimy as he whined when he spoke.

"Will it be safe here sire?" The whiny nasal began.

"Safe from what?" Quinns voice rang coldly as he tossed a long poll of some sorts against the wall.

"The humans sire!"

Humans?

They exit the room closing the door behind them as I quickly follow. I wait a few second before emerging too and heading for his room. The hallway was dark besides the small sliver of light from the room.

"Don't be ridiculous pest!" Quinn sits down as the other wipes his nose. The boy didn't look much older than I was maybe a little younger. He had red hair and pasty skin as his face was littered with freckles.

"I believe dust got in my nose master, it smells awful." He sneezes as he says this and his hand transforms into something I couldn't see. The door was cracked preventing me from seeing only what the crack would allow. So I inch that much closer.

"sire I need water! This body is failing me!" The boy says panicked as he places his hand in something.

"Rekucon" the boy finches at the name and drops his head quickly.

Rekucon?

"When are we going take her master? I could just knock her and the wench unconscious with the staff of Haku sire?"

Quinn fixes his cufflinks as he stares at the boy named Rekucon I assume.

"Are you a new born? Haku protects humans, and I cannot touch it, It doesn't take to gods. I don't want to alarm them."

"But sire the sister, the wench, what about her? With that mouth she might as well be a demon." Rekucon sniffs the air as he sneezes once more and I back away.

What the hell is happening, is this some freak joke between them? If so, it's not funny.

"Nothing, she will get as the rest do, an eraser. You are here because you serve me not to be a nuisance."

As he says this he sits at the mirror fixing his hair.

"I hope this is worth it your grace, it could cause for the hounds to come snooping. It has been a decade since you've done this,  they've already taken your name as kitsune."

"They're already snooping, and you know that. This will be quick and painless. Like the others before, my reign died along time ago."

What are they talking about? I listen closer as the friend sniffs the air once again.

"Sire something isn't right, we must-"

I couldn't hear anymore as my phone rings loudly. Shit! It's margo. It stumbles to the ground as the door swings open and I stumble to the ground with it. I rest at Quinns feet as I look up into his dark shadow.

"The rat! How much did you hear girl!" The boy Rekucon yells as I look down at his appearance.

Everything was normal besides his hand rests in a bow resembled that of a Tod's paw.

I let out a scream but am quickly hushed by Quinn  as he scoops me up and covers my mouth.

"I've been waiting for this day so I could finally get rid of you. Filthy human." He whispered in my ear as he dragged me down the dark hallway.

He turns a corner and I kick and thrash. I bite his skin but he has no reaction as he continues to walk.

"What are you! And what do you want with my sister!" I say.

He shoves me in the closet as I kick away from him.

"Do not interfere." He says dangerously cold and I frown at his words.

"Don't you hurt my sister." He closes the door before I could lung toward him.

My head was spinning and I could feel myself getting weak as I collapse on the floor. All of this I couldn't  process. Then all of it began to make sense. The weird behavior, the looks in his eyes. All the moments came so clear to me. This man was no man. But a fox! A kitsune? And he doesn't want to marry my sister but to eat her.
