You walked out of the restaurant with your usual cup of water, thirst has been climbing up your throat all day and this was your only chance to get something to drink-
You checked your old and disgusting wallet to see how much money you've gotten for the day-
"Seven Dollars.."
You sigh while putting your wallet back in your backpack-You usually get around ten dollars a day and that was barely enough to manage-You looked up to see a empty street which, was very strange to you- the streets in New York are usually bustling-you slowly walked forward, being confused and scared by the empty streets-but then you noticed-
This is great-
You started running and jumping and laughing while playing with the cold air-you've never felt so free-your usually never alone-always being surrounded by people made you scared-you always had to be ready for the unexpected, especially being a teen girl-but now, being alone made you feel like you could do anything-
"you seem way too happy to be homeless"
You turned around to see a boy standing on the sidewalk with his hands on his backpack straps-looking at you like your a chicken with its head cut off-
damnit-can't I be alone for longer than five fucking minutes?
"you seem like a prick but am I complaining?"
