"That is going to be a gnarly scar." Elliot smiled, as we sat together in my hospital room. The nurse was cleaning my wound and my husband thought that it was amazing, which concerns me a bit.

"Why are you so amazed by this, El? You will be seeing it for the rest of your life so take a break and let the nurse do her job." I replied, and Elliot laughed. It's been two weeks since the surgery and I was still in the hospital. My father was in a coma still, but he was doing much better. Cynthia hated me for being able to donate a lobe of my liver when she couldn't, but other than that I was doing good too.

The nurse finished up cleaning the wound and putting on another bandage before leaving the room. I looked at my husband and sighed as he grabbed my hand.

"You only have two more days before we can go home."

"You can go home already, El. And then once I can go home I have to recover for another 6 weeks."

"At least this is all happening right now and not during school. You have plenty of time to recover before classes come back into session."

"Yeah, I do not need to be behind even more." I sighed, before grabbing the blanket Bernie had sent up with Elliot, and I leaned forward to wrap it around my body.

Elliot and I talked for a bit more before he left to work his shift at the bookstore. I sank down with a book, but as I was just getting into a good chapter, someone knocked on my door. I looked up and saw Serena standing there with flowers.

"Serena?" I questioned, and she swallowed hard.

"Hey, Liv. I just wanted to bring you something and tell you how proud I am of you."

"You're proud of me?" I asked, completely shocked.

"Yeah. Cynthia was a match too, but she said she was too scared." Serena breathed, and I swallowed hard.

"Well, it is scary. I'm just thankful that it got done and my father is going to live... hopefully."

"Don't tell her that I told you, okay?" Serena spoke, and I sighed.

"I won't. But Serena, you should be with her, not me." I huffed a bit.

"When I'm not with you, you are upset. But when I am with you, you are also upset. How do you expect me to be a mother to you if you won't let me in?!" She exclaimed angrily.

"Serena, you actually ignored me! You said that Cynthia was supposed to be your daughter, but you were stuck with me. Would you have been just as shitty of a mother if Cynthia had been the twin you kept? Or would you have been a great mother to her? Would you have actually loved her? Because when you had me you didn't love me, and I'm pretty damn sure you don't love me now!" I spat, before tugging the blanket up to my chin again.

The teddy bear that I had stolen from Cynthia slipped out and onto the floor. Serena stood and grabbed it. She looked at it for a moment before swallowing hard.

"I loved you enough to give you this damn bear."

"You were high, Serena. You said you gave it to me because I had been a good girl, but I'm pretty sure it was just the fact you were high and found a dinky bear. Now, give it back." I huffed, before reaching out to grab it. She held it to her chest and shook her head.

"I gave this to Cy." She spoke, and tears sprung into my eyes. I may be a bitch to her, but that is my bear and I got it because I didn't speak or eat. I was a good girl for one full year, but my body was still scattered with bruises because she didn't think I had been a good girl every day.

"You gave it to me in the beginning, Serena. I'm keeping it because it was the only thing you ever gave me. So don't deny me of anything else." I whispered as tears ran down my cheeks.

"I gave you life, you ungrateful rape baby." She spat, before ripping the head of the bear and throwing it at me.

I asked my nurse if I could go into my father's room. She was quick to say yes. But as she pushed me into my father's room, I saw Cynthia sitting next to him.

"Oh, I want to go back," I whispered, but it was too late.

"Olivia just abandoned me?" My father whispered horsely.

"Yeah, she just said that you weren't important to her anymore. That she has her own life and she can't babysit you. So I'm here, and I'll take care of you." Cynthia breathed before she kissed my father's hand as he closed his eyes.

"I didn't abandon him, Cynthia. I gave him part of my liver." I hissed, and Cynthia shook a bit. She looked right at me, her eyes wide.

"Olivia, just let me have parents." She spat.

"Fuck off, Cy. Just back the fuck off and get out of my father's room."

"He is just as much my father as he is yours!" She yelled, which woke up our father.

"Cynthia, what's wrong?" He yawned, before finding my face.

"Liv, what are you doing here? Are you hurt?" He asked.

"Dad, I donated a lobe of my liver to you. I'm getting released soon to finish my recovery from home."

"No, Cy said they found a random donator. You left me, Liv. Why would you do that?" He whimpered, and I felt like dying at this moment.

"Mr. Cragen, your daughter did donate part of her liver to you. She has proof from the scar on her stomach. She's been sitting with you whenever I let her. She didn't leave you." She spoke, and Cynthia stared at her angerly.

"You really did that for me, Liv?"

"Of course I did, Dad," I spoke quietly.

"Don't listen to her, Dad!" Cynthia exclaimed, but my father held up his hand.

"Leave, Cynthia, now. I don't want you here anymore." My father spoke, as my sister started to cry.

"You just have to take everything from me, Olivia. You are so stupid and selfish."
