TRUE LOVE IS LIKE GHOSTS,
WHICH EVERYBODY TALKS
ABOUT & FEW HAVE SEEN.

The same question,

asked twice.

So much had happened since it was first asked, and to answer it once again? She would have to go back to when it all started. Back to the start from when they first asked her —

P A U S E ,
R E W I N D ,
P L A Y :

❝Becky, why?❞ The question was on everyone's mind, and they all wanted to know. She had set the world on fire, gaining the loudest crowd responses and they all wanted a little piece of her secret ways.

BECKY, WHY'D YOU
DO IT?

Most said that she had snapped, but Rebecca knew the truth. After her defeat in which Charlotte once again held what she most wanted, her flesh had felt so hot. It was like her blood was bubbling, reaching boiling point and at the brim of spilling.

Spilling into madness because in one hand, her best friend grasped onto that title belt she had only held once before.

That one time was an honor, but when standing next to the woman who was a seven times women's champion — her honorable one time reign felt insignificant.

The biggest question roaming in her mind was, what didn't she have that Charlotte did? For most of her championship reign, Rebecca spent a lot of time soul searching.

Coming to terms with who she was and how she reacted to things the way she did because of past good and bad experiences. She questioned what made Charlotte a seven time Women's Champion, and it wasn't a self-destructive habit of comparison.

It was her diving into a serious expedition of truth-searching.

There was no sentiments of greed or jealousy involved because Becky also wondered what someone so athletic as Naomi, someone with a royal wrestling family like Natalya, a once in a lifetime gifted in ring talent and personality like the Boss Sasha Banks lacked they they couldn't be given the same opportunity?

What in the hell was it? A matter of genetics that one can't help? Was one's superior dose of melanin not what the WWE typically wanted in their posters?

Was it too rich for their typical saltine cookie - cutter preference?

It surely wasn't lack of heart or wrestling ability since truly, all the women in the WWE fought extremely hard for just a minute of in ring time to wrestle, or propel their character's personality.
