"Well this is me" I gestured to the top floor of a small flat and then passed him the helmet I'd been wearing.

He quietly observed the building for a few seconds and then looked at me, "you live here?" he asked curiously.

I understood that the building wasn't in the best condition, it was in real need of a new paint job and even a few of the windows of the lower rooms had been smashed during robberies, but i didn't mind to much. I thought the place had character.

"Yes" I stated slowly raising an eyebrow "I know its not exactly a Beverly Hills mansion, but its affordable and I actually have great decorating skills" I defended my flat.

"Well of course" he smiled "you are an art major!" he teased.

I rolled my eyes but laughed along with him. I checked the time on my phone,my eyes widening when I saw what it was. "Well I've had a really good time tonight, thanks for taking me to the beach" I thanked him politely.

"I've had a good time to" he assured me. He grabbed my hand and drew a pen from his jacket pocket and scribbled a few numbers onto my arm. He looked at me with hopeful eyes. "Lets do it again some time" he stated but as more of a question.

I nodded silently, not sure if should mention that I actually had a boyfriend. After a few seconds of contemplating, I decided that it was information that in this moment in time was not necessary to provide. Although I suddenly felt very guilty.

"Well again thanks" I whispered "maybe I'll see you around?"

"We will see each other again" he said seriously and then his eyes crinkled at the corners as he grinned. "Plus i know where you live now, your not going to be able to get rid of me" he joked. The motorbike roared to life and he gave me a mock salute before driving off around the corner.

I stood in the dark, on the side of the ride long after he'd left and thought about the wonderful evening I'd just had. I already knew that I liked him and maybe even more than liked him. Which was why I made the quick decision to run up to my room on the top floor, and scrub my hands under water running from the tap ridding my skin of the freshly applied ink.

I had a boyfriend, and loved Danny very much...
