Pitter patter
The rain fell at a seemingly slow pace, onto the drenched leaves. It had been pouring for what seems like forever. I guess that's what you get for living in a rain forest. I put on my rain boots, along with my raincoat. My nose was up towards the celing and my tail was low to the ground. My eyes were shut tight. I walked out the door and onto the semi-dry porch. I took a step off the porch. The first step I took. That boot got all muddy. It slowly sank into the mud. Of course, this thick mud made it hard for anybody to even walk. I still managed to get through.

I walked to the mysterious temple that sat on what seemed to be a fusion of a waterfall and a hill. The temple had been covered in vines ever since one jammer, named spirit the wolf found this land. Well, the vines were already there before anyone found this land. No one has dared to even make even the slightest attempt in cutting these vines. I walked around, seeing if I could find somthing sharp enough rock to cut through the vines. If I was luck, I would find a sword. One that shined bright in the few beams of light that shown through the trees.

Eventually, luck found it's way to me. I had found a sword! Bewildered by my findings, I ran over to the gleaming metal object. It seemed to had been abit rustic from all the rain, though still able to use. I picked up the shining beauty, similar how a magnet attracts to another. Almost instantaneously. I dragged it over to the thick vines of the mysterious temple. With one cut, The vines separated, then turned into ashes. Peculiar. I entered the temple.

As I had entered the temple, I noticed an immediate change in climate. Outside was damp and humid while the inside was cold and dark. In order to see better, I took out my night vision goggles. The room was too dark for even the most sharpest of eyes. I turned them on to see a grand room. Every little inch of this incredible place had been engraved with great detail. I walked around the magnificent beauty, each step seeming to reveal more secrets about the land. The temple was filled with stone plates, each having facts about the animals that once roamed these wetlands, in some of the most eloquent hand writing. Two specific statues caught my eye. One was a beautiful saber-tooth tiger, the other a charming direwolf. The two wore crowns, resembling the king and queen of the past.

Amazing! Incredible! Inspiring!
These words all described the discovery. It was a truly amazing experience for a huge adventure lover and history geek, much like myself.
[IcI walked home through the rain. My night vision goggles were not in my possession, so my yellow raincoat and boots were the only things I wore. The rain started to clear up, although the ground was still gruesome and muddy. As I made my way back to my house, I looked back at the temple. Another incredible thing had happened: a glimpse of sunrise. The few golden rays of the sun hit my face, slowly at first but then with rapid growth. The sun rarely shown this deep into the rain forest, I had observed. I had walked inside my den as the rest of Balloosh started to rise.
