(EPISODE 2) “THE CHOSEN ONES”
{SETTING} (UNDERWORLD BIOME) [NORTHERN CITY DISTRICT] (GRAND TITAN CITY)
{CAMERA EXPLORES THE CITY FOR 10 SECONDS BEFORE FOCUSING ON FUTURISTIC BUILDING CALLED TITANS TOWER}
EXODUS STANDS IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE BUILDING, LOOKING UP AT THE GIANT TOWER. HIS HANDS ARE IN HIS TRENCH COATS’ POCKETS.
HE THEN TURNS HIS ATTENTION TOWARDS THE COUPLE WHO ARE ENTERING THE BUILDING. THE WOMAN EMBRACES THE MAN’S ARM. EXODUS CHUCKLES.
“So this is one of their HQ? Just as I've suspected. It's generic. The antagonists hide in the open, behind their notorious, powerful, idolized, positions. If I go in they would ambush me. Those two who just entered the building are a part of the operation, most likely scouts. Knowing who they're up against, their approaching strategy works effectively. Quite the opponent. They've chosen hide ‘n’ seek as their game tactic. They are quite the strategists. This is how they want to introduce themselves. It's their way of giving me a first impression.” Exodus says in his head, walking on the levitated sidewalk, away from the building.
{CAMERA FOCUSES ON THE PEOPLE WHO ENTERED THE BUILDING. THEY ARE SITTING AROUND A FUTURISTIC 2 SEATER TABLE}
The man sits on the farther side from the entrance. The female sits with her back against the entrance direction.
“It’s as you've deduced, he found one of our HQ’s. How did he find it and why didn't we ambush him?” the man asks the woman. “He's exactly who the Hackers’ said he was. He had most likely deduced most of our ‘STRATEGY’. He probably knows that one of us is in charge of the whole operation.” the woman explains.
“But ma’am, if he'd concluded that much, why didn't he try to foil our ‘STRATEGY’?” asks the man.
“He's a genius. He's playing the game. Biting the bait. He want to see everything plays out. Besides, what could he do? He wouldn't recklessly enter without knowing how many or who the antagonists are.” The woman explains with a smirk on her face. “Why didn't we ambush him? He was---” silver flames start to form around the woman's body.
“Why do you question me? Did you forget your place? I'm the strategist genius here. I know EXACTLY what I'm doing. Do you understand the words that are coming from my mouth?” the woman says in a calm but aggregated tone. The flames slowly make their way towards the man. Black flames start to form on his forehead like tattoos. His eyes roll to the back of his head. Veins start to form along his head and neck. The flames make their way to his neck. Struggling, he nods.
“Splendid!” the woman says in a joyful tone. The man falls backwards onto the floor. *People in the lobby start to stare* The woman gets up and slowly walks away. “Now get up and run your business. You might have company later so I suggest you do as much as possible before then.” She says exiting the building.
A hard rushes to the man's aid. “Sir are you alright!?” he shouts trying to help the man up.
The man comes to his senses again and his symptoms instantly vanish. He sits up. “Y-yeah, dont touch me! I'm alright!” he says struggling to get back on his feet. He finally stands up. “Company? I'm not expecting any visitors…” he says running the back of his neck, walking away from the camera.
