You would regonize those notes anywhere. You would regonize that voice anywhere. Those fingers, those hands, those lips, that smile. Everything that was so familiar to you even though you had never actually seen them. So assuring, so safe. Everything that wrapped you into a light bubble of happiness but also made sure that you would fall every single time. You knew that it was untrue, that it would always hurt but you couldn't stop. It was torture that you made yourself go through because only for that smile, that precious, innocent and true smile wiped all your worries away. The smile had become your sun a long time ago and you never wanted it to go away. Still, it didnt last forever as nothing does. Clouds came and covered the sun. You felt how it got colder and colder. How your fingertips turned cold, how your once warm and salty tears turned to pure ice, freezing the tear ducts. How you had to lay down because your legs became so weak that you couldn't stand. How it just got colder and colder. Slowly, the once quickly and warm heartbeat turned into a cold stone. Clouds didn't go away even when you promised to do anything. The clouds just got darker and darker. You couldn't keep your eyes open and slowly closed them. Cold snow hit the ground. Little by little, wind got stronger. The cold body that belonged to you, started to be covered by white snow. First snow.. As innocent as that person. Your heart seemed to waver by the thought of him. You tried to open your eyes. Could it be that the sun was already coming back? Could it be that you could feel the warmth again? Thoughts of seeing him again filled your head and you used all your strenght to open your eyes. It was so cold. It hurted so much. Slowly your cold, already frozen body seemed to move. Small warmth from your heart started to melt everything around you. You finally got your eyes open and the first thing you did was look up at the sky. You could just see black. Hopeful smile melted from your lips. You blinked your eyes a little, hoping that it was just because of your eyes. You saw movement in the sky and slowly realized that it was snow. But what about the sun? Your tears started flowing like waterfalls and you opened your mouth for a yell but only a small whimper came out. The pain shook your body. You couldn't hear anything, you just lied in the ground crying and holding your chest.
Snow had stopped and so had your tears. You were numb. You just looked up at the cruel, black sky who seemed to be laughing at you. You slowly rose from the ground, still numb and cold. Trying to walk hurted your joints as you stumbled ahead. You had to move, closer. Pain was unbearable. You had to find him. He was close, you felt his presence, the warmth. You stopped for a while, closing your eyes. You still remembered those eyes, that smile, that face. The way he acted, the way he laughed. The pain got stronger but it gave you strenght. You opened your eyes and kept going forward. Not really knowing where but you knew it was towards him.
