the never ending nightmare

He ran as fast as he could as the forest grew black and dark that eventually grew faster and began caching up to him.

He tried flapping his wings but he didn't fly above the ground he then ran more quickly. He then felt something lumpy and big yet sharp hit his goat hoof making him trip and fall on the ground ''ouch!!'' He groaned. He then looked behind him seeing the everfree trees glow up with darkness his ears dropped down ''oh no'' he uttered ''no no NO!!'' he cried and shot his head up and painting he then looked around his dark room looking to his left seeing the bed stand seeing his lamp that was him holding the light up but the light had not been on it was off but he then reached out to flick the switch on he watched as the room lite up a little.

Discord looked back at his nightmare he had before thinking about how the trees grew darker than ever with him running for his life and also running from something or someone he thought.

He had thought for a moment this thing was looking more like a creature that had looked like him ''that can't be right.'' He said out of his thoughts ''he can't be...'' he said

He knew that a long time ago his parents had died and well he had really no idea about his parents but he had thought he was the last of his kind but the creature looked exactly like him but a little different

''He is!'' He exclaimed ''but who is he?'' He asked himself. He was very confused who he was but he just shook his head and forgot about it

But discord had hoped to not have a nightmare like that again but no matter how hard he tried he never forgotten it he didn't understand why but it had never left him

discord had a nightmare every night now soon discord had gotten used to it so every night discord would say ''OK let's prepare for the nightmare'' then he would sleep and eventually wake up screaming and barely getting any sleep because when he woke up he was scared to ever close his eyes and go back to sleep because it had seemed like every time he went to sleep a nightmare would come into his head instead of a good dream

Discord didn't understand why he kept having these dreams but he just wanted them to go away some of them would end up with Darkness or some evil bad memories of what happened in the past he just wanted it to go away but no matter how hard he tried for it to go away it never did and never left him the nightmare never left him.

The next night discord barley slept all he could think about was the horror of every nightmare he had so he didn't want to have to deal with this tonight but he felt his eyes grow heavier and heavier the next then he knew he fell asleep

Discord woke up in a strange place. He looked around seeing a dark room but seeing a cell door ''were am i?'' He wandered he looked around to see nothing but dark that was quite and very echoey he heard his voice echo a few times after he said anything. Soon enough the silence broke as he heard a familiar voice it was sweet and soft it had brought warmth to his heart he knew who's voice it was he knew it so well ''f-fluttershy?'' He finally said he then heard hoof noises coming from a hallway ''discord!'' She hollered discord heard her voice get a bit louder as she grew closer to him. Discord looked up seeing a slight light from the door that began lighting up the room then seeing a beautiful Pegasus standing there with the key around her neck with a hopefull look on her face as she looked to see a draconequus on the ground looking up at her with hopefull and faithful eyes ''oh discord it is you!!'' She said flying over to him then raping her arms around him discord then returned the hug

He smiled and thought happily '' maybe this is a good dream after all'' he said but what he didn't know was that it was actually a nightmare usually his dreams start out good but that's just to get his hopes up but then they turn bad.

Fluttershy then backed away from him but was not smiling ''did really think that this was a good dream just because I'm here?'' She said with a frown on her face.

Discord then raised a confused eye brow ''well yeah'' he said looking at her with a confused look on his face

Fluttershy then backed away and flew up above him so she could look at him better ''oh discord I just came to tell you how much of a monster you have become I mean how could you think that I love having you around and your chaos after practically abusing others Magic and lying to me I thought I could trust you but I was wrong!'' Fluttershy said with Fury in her eyes discord looked at her still confused look on his face

''Fluttershy w-what are talking about I thought you forgave me for it and you love my chaos I don't understand'' he said as his ears drooped down in a saddend state

'' tisk tisk you really thought that ha you really thought that I wanted to be friends with you ha ha'' another fluttershy came in and said soon out of the dark more fluttershys came out laughing at him and calling him names discord keep praying for this to end but no matter how hard he tried pinching himself and hitting himself nothing worked he watched as all of them laughed at him he wanted this ''torture'' to stop.

''P-please fluttershys stop please!!'' He begged but the didn't listen they kept going and going discord tried begging again but it didn't work ''Please stop laughing at me this isn't you fluttershy this isn't you!!!'' The previous fluttershy came up to him with an evil smirk ''oh discord pathetic week helpless discord being a little baby that won't get what he wants!'' She snickered they all then broke into laughter discord couldn't take it anymore ''please s-stop'' he uttered quietly so she would not hear him he felt his eyes feel with tears as he clasped on his knees again he then hugged himself hoping that this nightmare would end soon but as soon as he knew it he woke up breathing heavily and painting hard he then sat up a little in his bed.

He then slowly looked to his left seeing his bed stand and seeing his lamp again but there was something else there it looked like a picture frame. He then reached out to it seeing fluttershy on it then looking to the right side of the picture seeing him with a silly face and with fluttershy giggling at his goofy face he couldn't help but notice a tent of blush on her face. He then placed his hand over her on the pecture and was now covering her face because right when he looked at it it only brought back memories of his dream of seeing her laughing face only brought him the horror of his nightmare

But he then placed the picture back on his end table looking back at himself thinking of the words that she said before it had ended ''oh discord pathetic weak helpless discord'' he thought for a moment am I really pathetic? Am I really helpless? Am I really week? He kept questioning this to himself ''maybe I am'' he said as he thought again I feel so....so ''empty'' he said out of his thoughts ''why though'' he said ''I am pathetic....I am worthless.... I am weak'' he said as his ears dropped down along with his head closing his eyes with tears about ready to fall out of his eyes.

''I am forever a monster'' he said. He didn't deny it he really had felt pain hit his heart realy hard jus

He wanted it to go away he wanted the pain to go away but it never did it kept coming back to him.
