Darkness had fallen on Asgard. The king was ill and had fallen into the Odin sleep, the two sons were at each others throats fighting for the throne. A sense of fear took over the realm and many  thought that Ragnarok was upon them. Thor's mind had been distant as of late. If he wasn't trying to stop his brother from committing some crime against the throne then he was in secret meetings with Hiemdall. He had to find the girl of the prophecy.  His mother always spoke of a girl. She was to come and bring balance between the brothers. Loki had of course already married but the women he had chosen proved to not be the correct choice. Sure she was a good mother but she had yet to tame Loki from his life of crime and murder. The two had been estranged for some time now.

"She is on Midgard. There is a small town called Stockholm in Wisconsin. You'll find her there. A blue house on third street," Hiemdall approached Thor as he walked into the library. He spoke in hurried and rushed tones.

"Thank you my friend. I must go at once," Thor said turning on a heel. He had spent less than ten seconds in the library and yet he still had an eerie feeling that someone had overheard the short conversation.  Thor was accustomed to traveling to Midgard. Being apart of the Avengers, he found himself on earth more than he was at home. That, he believes, is why he struggles with his brother over the throne. All Loki ever wanted was a sense of belonging. He feels even more outcast now that he knows he isn't even Asgardian.

"I hope you know that prophecy's are just made up stories to keep children in line and to create a sense of wonder brother," Loki said appearing from around a corner.

"Loki come now, This mission has nothing to do with you. Let me be," Thor said trying to get around his brother quickly.

"We will see about that. How does Sif feel about you going to chase after some woman?" Loki asked knowing he was pushing the wrong button. Thor's patience was wearing thin as it was.

"Leave her out of this," Thor said.

"Oh brother, Did you not tell her?" Loki asked.

"She need not know about this mission as she is not needed for it. Sif and the warriors three have more important things to worry about," Thor said stiffly moving his brother out of his way. Loki had been watching his brothers secret little meetings for weeks now. Not knowing if Thor had plans to banish him from his home he felt it pertinent to know his every move. Thor had Tasked his little merry band of warriors to keep an eye on Loki. It was futile though as Loki could project himself to be wherever he wanted. There were three of him running around the castle at this very moment.  Things were about to change drastically and Loki knew that this wasn't a particularly good position to be in. He also knew that time on earth moved different from that on Asgard and if Thor thought that leaving was a good idea he had another thing coming. Loki had big plans. He could not wait to see the shocked look on his brothers face when he returned.
