Raven's POV

I don't know when nor do I know how but I managed to get up and walk over to my bed.

I don't know how long I sat against the door or when I fell asleep, but I'm now being woken up by someone shaking my arm and saying my name. I wonder how they managed to get in if my door was locked. Maybe I just thought I locked it, but I actually didn't.

Deciding to open my eyes I come face to face with Jade. It's like God knew exactly what I needed, so he sent Jade to help me feel better and be a shoulder for me to lean on like always.

Before Jade can even utter a sentence I throw myself off my bed and wrap my arms around her neck and cry onto her shoulder. I can hear Jade shushing me and telling me that everything is going to be okay, but I know it's not.

Once my sobs die down to mere hiccups I remove myself from Jade and her comforting arms and get up off the floor to lay back on my headboard.

"Raven. Are you okay?" Jade asks in a low whisper. I shake my head before telling her why I'm like this.

"My parents are getting a divorce." I whisper in disbelief.

I don't know why but I feel ashamed for some reason. I just can't believe after everything we've gone through they just wanna throw it all away. As if they were the only ones that had to deal with everything. It's like they are forgetting that I was there and that I saw everything that happened.

"Oh my gosh. Raven, I'm so sorry." Jade whispers in a soft voice. She gets up from her spot on the floor and sits next to me on the bed.

"If you need anything I'll be here for you. Even if it's something small. I'll be here." As soon as she finishes her sentence my stomach decides to let out a loud growl.

"I think I can go for some food. That would really help." We both chuckle as we shake our heads due to my stomach being weird.

"Well then lets go get you and your stomach some food, yeah? I nod my head before I slip off my bed and put on my shoes.

Jade starts to climb out of the open window as she tells me that she will be waiting for me in her car.

Before walking out my room I decide to look in the mirror to see if I look bad. Looking into the mirror I see that I have tears stuck onto my cheeks and my eyes are pink and a bit puffy. Grabbing my purse, I put on a little makeup hoping it will hide the fact that I've been crying and walk out my room closing the door behind.

As I'm getting ready to walk out the door I see that both my parents are still in the kitchen. They aren't saying much but as soon as they see me they share a look as if they wanna say something.

Instead of giving them a chance to say what they have to say, I walk out the front and slam it behind me. I get into Jade's car without a word.

Jade doesn't say anything as we drive to this little Italian restaurant that I've never been to. Shutting off the car we both get out and walk towards the door in silence.

As Jade talks to the hostess I look at the ground not really paying attention. I get so lost in my thought that Jade has to nudge me to let me know that our table is ready. Once we are seated and handed a menu the hostess explains that our waiter will be with us in bit to order our drinks.

"Raven are you gonna be like this all night? Cause if you are that's totally lame. Besides there is some cute boy staring at you from across the room." I turn my head around and see that Jade was right there is a cute boy staring at me.

He's looks like your all American dream guy. Blonde hair, gorgeous blue eyes that are to die for, plump pink lips, and has a country boy type feel to him. He winks at me once he realizes that I'm staring at him. Blushing a deep shade of red, I turn back around and face Jade.
