Time waits for no man! At least that's what people say.
You prefer to say that time flies when having fun! And that is what happened!
After all the exams and volleyball games. School is over! Well, not entirely over! But...
SUMMER IS HERE!!!
And what do most people do during the summer? Yes, the beach!
At least that is what you are trying to do... You are trying to plan a beach day with Iwaizumi. However, every time you try, someone asks you to do something else with them. Which leaves you overbooked and the 'sweet' Iwaizumi cancels your plans to let you enjoy your time with friends.
Even if you actually want the exact opposite to happen.
You and Iwaizumi have been dating for a month now. (F/N) actually reminded you one night when she was sleeping over. You spoke about it with Iwaizumi... He panicked and kept apologizing for forgetting and reasoned it with the fact that it's his first time dating for this long and he doesn't really know what to do.
As an understanding girlfriend, you decided to work on those things together and not worry about silly things such as anniversaries. You were both happy, as long as you get to spend time together.
Which brings us to the plan you are so desperately trying to make.
After weeks of plans being made and canceled and barely seeing Iwaizumi... You snapped! You called Iwaizumi and told him that both of you have plans to go to the beach this weekend and you don't care who wants to hang out or needs anything. You are going!
You also replied to all other requests of hangouts with other parties with concise but direct answers. Such as, 'I'm busy,' 'I'm with Hajime that day, or 'The couples are busy that day, try some other time!'
Nothing will ruin this weekend!
You get everything prepared, to make sure this weekend will be perfect! The plan is just a day at the beach, but it's something new. You haven't done that with him yet, and you are going to be practically showing everything to him... So your nerves weren't the calmest at the moment.
The day came around, and you were ready and waiting for Iwaizumi to come pick you up.
"Hey (Y/N), don't forget to take pictures! I want to see EVERYTHING!" You mom winks at you, and you directly feel a shiver go down your spine!
"Ew, mom! Come on!" The second you say that the bell rings signaling that Iwaizumi has arrived.
You grab your beach bag and bid goodbye to your parents.
"Try not to drool too much sweetie!!" You mom shouts. Let's just say that your mother has a good set of pipes... Which means everyone heard her say that.
"What does she mean?" Pure, innocent Iwaizumi asks.
"N-Nothing! F-Forget it!" Looking like a blushing mess, you walk past Iwaizumi and walk ahead of him.
Not really something you want to tell your boyfriend... Like 'hey! Ya, my mom doesn't want me to drool too much when you are shirtless with all your pecks and abs and everything out in the open...'
'Oh god! I can't stop thinking about that now!'
It felt like it took you forever to get to the beach. Iwaizumi got what your mother meant halfway through and started making fun of you and teasing you. Which you retaliated by saying he will faint when he sees how amazing you look!
