I kick at the door with all my might as I try hard to get free.
"Quiet girl!" The boy says from the other side of the door.
"Once master and the girl say I do then she's as good as dead which should be any minute."
"What are you guys! Is he truly a slithering fox?"
I can hear him laugh and sigh at my words.
"You should show more respect, he is the kitsune, the God over foxes and spirits, the one you prey to at night for a miracle, the one that reigns great fortune over the lands."
"If he is that then why does he want my sister? He's supposed to help us not kill us?"
"Silence! He has done more to help your ungrateful kind than you'll ever know! He doesn't want your sister but her soul. She is pure and innocent. She is a pure of heart, a white knight. Which can do wonders for a gods coat and organs."
"Your sick!"
He laughs at this confidently.
"And what would you know about such a word? Aren't you jealous of your sisters carefree life hmm? It doesn't matter now, once the deed is done you'll be out of the way by morning. You really don't think we'll spare you kindness after learning all of this information do you?"
I kick at the door again as I hear his laugh ring.
I kick so hard that several things fall on me including the poll.
"It's pointless all that kicking, as long as I'm here your crys are pointless ha!"
I examine it's sturdiness and as I do I realize that it's not just a poll. It's the staff. The staff of haku.
I brush over the Chinese engraving that read HAKU. I close my eyes and prey that this helps me.
I began to bang on the door handle. After three tries the handle comes loose and I push open the door knocking the boy out with one blow. The staff begins to glow a neon blue light as more chinese encryption is shown. I can hear voices at the altar in the main hall as I creep forward. I wasn't going to let him have her not for anything.
I duck down and inch my way towards them as they say the vows. Margos hand was placed on a thick pure white book as she smiled up at him.
When I got close enough I can hear her residing vows but it sounds more like a spell than actually sense. she's nearly at the end as he says a few words also. That is when I stood in the asle way.
"Chico!" Margo says happily as I give her a warm smile as I hold the staff close to me.
"Get away from her" I growl as I watch the foxes eye. They saw the staff then guided there way back up to me.
"I said.. STAY AWAY FROM MY SISTER!"
I yell running towards the couple with the staff of Haku. The intensity of the staffs power breaks them apart shocking the fox backwards as he hisses and hops further away, Margo falls to the floor. I desperately help her to her feet as I lean her body on a chair. She was warm and still had coloring in her face. The staff had knocked her unconscious. I glance up at the book on the stand, I step to the stage. The book casting a soft white glow as I stared down at its crisp white pages. It was a binding spell for marriage, I couldn't understand most of the writing as it seems to be written in ancient Greek. I take a deep breath and place my hands gently on the page. It's glow became unbearable as a blinding light shocked my eyes sending me backward onto the ground.
I cant remember when i passed out but i came to shortly after to see I was in my sisters wedding kimono and the fox was glaring me down.
"What have you done!" He barked and I narrow my brows.
What had I done?
I look down at my outfit and see a golden bracelet appear around my tiny wrist.
I did it. .. it actually worked..
I'm married to the fox?
I smiled to my self in success as I finally freed my sister.
"I'm married to the fox!" I said excitedly until that is, my mind was able to process the events more slowly. Along with my words i was saying. I frowned grimly as my face drained quickly.
"Shit I'm married to the fox"
S- so I hope it wasn't confusing I really was making it up as I went along trying to match it with the foreshadowing toward the beginning of the book but I don't really know if it actually worked or not. Anyways let me know if you like it!! I hope you guys will enjoy!!
