Straights still think there is a straight pride (or should be)
This thought has been around forever
But why
Noone has ever felt the pain of wanting to die SOLELY because they are straight
This community ; Gay Pride or LGBTQ+ was made to make us feel included
Not alone
Sometimes i wonder why!?
Why do they feel this way
Why was Gay know as A MENTAL ILLNESS
Why in certain places can you be stoned
Be fined
Face Jail time for being Gay
It's 2018 and people are STILL using Gay as an insult
WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK PEOPLE
We are more likely to be victims of attacks or assault because of this
Jobs are lost
WHY
Because people are DIFFERENT
But you still want 'straight pride' ???
You get a whole freaking year, we get a month
But "OH, i'm straight and I have pride."
We had to earn our pride
After having to hide
In a closet
In a cell maybe
Lost in a trance
Just give us a chance
Conversion Therapy fails
I feel like i'm buried in nails
The list of lovers haunts me
In a church
In a building
Of religion
Of which I can't live in
This world needs to change
Can equality be met with one bang
Not a firing gun BANG
But a bang of LOVE <3
Will a touch of a hand make you understand?
Stand together not apart
Why are trans women and men NOT ALLOWED to serve for our country
WE are people dont you see???
You are human just like me
I'm supposed to be equal to you
Why isn't it happening
What is there to loose?
Your pride?
Is there pride?
