"Look into the camera and tell them about you and what you did" He says pointing at the recording camera on the table across from me

"My name is Riley Parker, I am 26, and I am a writer." I say

"And I didn't try to kill them"

It was 5:28am and I was sitting in my spiny chair while trying to think of things to write for my new book called "the damned".

I couldn't think of anything, my mind was blank. I decide to get up and leave the room for a few minutes.

I was surprisingly hungry so I go to the kitchen to try and find some food. I open the fridge but couldn't find anything that would satisfy my hunger. Then all of a sudden I hear whispers of footprints, I turn to see who it was.

My heart sank for a second to see a black figure moving but as it got closer I could see it was only my husband, Ethan.

"You scared me" I say

"Why are you up?"

"I was coming to check up on you" Ethan says

"How's the writing going?"

"Not so good, I can't think of anything" I say

Ethan walks over into the kitchen and leans on the counter across from the fridge

"Well maybe a little cabin getaway will help you think of something" Ethan says

"Cabin getaway?" I ask

"In the middle of nowhere?"

"Yea, it's a few good 20 miles away" Ethan says

"But yea a cabin getaway, it'll be nice"

"Who all is coming?" I ask

"Grayson, Shelby, and Kaylee" Ethan says

"Ohm, I don't know" I say

"Nature isn't really my friend"

Ethan walks closer to me and his hands were beside my sides now. Ethan looks up, into my eyes and I look into his. His soft hazel eyes always makes my heart flutter.

"Come on, we will have our own room" Ethan says

"Maybe we can try again"

"In the middle of the forest? I don't think so" I say

"Why not" Ethan asks

"Because it is creepy" I say

"Especially at night"

"Maybe so but it'll be fun" Ethan says

"Fun, how?" You ask

"Well Kaylee is bringing something" Ethan says

"Don't tell me it's an Ouija board" I say

Ethan was silent for a second and he just smiled

"Ethan we are not playing with that" I say

"Why not" Ethan asks

"Because Ethan you know my past I had a terrifying past because of the first time I played that thing" I say

"I am like a demon magnet"

"No Way!"

"Okay, well then I and everyone else is going to play" Ethan says

"No you are not" I say

"Something bad could happen"
